We invite you to join us this October at the upcoming Texas Chapter of the ACP’s Annual Scientific Meeting, held at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort and Spa, October 25-27, with pre-course POCUS and ABIM SEP Module sessions offered on Friday October 25.

This family-friendly property offers recreation and relaxation! From the TPC Golf Course to Lantana Spa and heated pools, and hotel activities designed for kids, we encourage you to ‘make a weekend of it’ with your family! We invite you, and your family to join us on Saturday evening for an outdoor evening under the stars with S’mores, Music, games and fun!

The meeting will include excellent scientific presentations, practical hands-on learning sessions and updates in General Outpatient Medicine, Wellness Centered Medicine and Hospital-Based Medicine breakouts. We’re excited to

announce a special session that will highlight Medicine’s Global Reach and ACP’s Bob Doherty will provide Public Policy update! Thank you to our many faculty volunteers for rounding out these fantastic educational topics! There will be specific Student and Resident tracks on Saturday and we’ll kick of the popular Doctor’s Dilemma on Sunday with our first Chapter Story Slam starting at noon!

Help us give back to the local community! I invite you to join me in a Doc for Socks drive at this meeting. We will collect socks to distribute to local charities serving the homeless, in-need and at-risk in San Antonio.

Start your Sunday morning with the Fun Run with your ACP Governor, Dr. Jack Myers around the beautiful Hill Country property!

This conference is about making personal contacts and getting involved in your Texas chapter. Your program chairs and committee have planned a great weekend to help you meet not only your needs as physician, but also the needs of the patients you serve.
