Important Reminders:

• Qualified recruits’ agreements processed online must be submitted by September 30, 2015 (signed BCA and ID to complete the requirements).

• FSD Qualifiers who finish DIQ and debut in the month of August or September 2015 will be considered as a qualified unit member of her Senior Director. (Example: DIQ Maria became a new SD in August and qualified for the challenge. She will be considered as a qualified unit member of her Senior Director, SSD Sofia.)

• Qualified unit members from the new Sales Director’s unit will be considered as a qualified unit member of the new Sales Director’s Senior Sales Director IF the qualifier was recruited prior to the debut of the new Sales Director. (Example: Using the scenario above, new SD Maria has a qualified unit member named RJ Rosa who was recruited prior to her debut, RJ Rosa will be considered as a qualified unit member of SSD Sofia.)

• Qualified Beauty Consultants (BCs) and Sales Directors (SDs) must process their own documents and passport. Please apply or renew your passports as early as July 2015 to ensure that it will still be valid for travel until September 2016 (8 months).

• Qualified BCs/SDs must submit the confirmation form, travel waiver and passport on or before NOVEMBER 7, 2015. Non-submission of the complete documents by this date would mean forfeiture of the trip.

• Qualified BCs/SDs who will not be able to join the trip are not entitled either to bank or convert the trip to cash.

• All incentive trips are subject to creditable withholding tax of 10% under Section 2.57.2 (0) of the National Internal Revenue Code.

1. Turn your guests into a Hostess. All the guests from my Skin Care Classes are potential Hostesses. My goal is always to book at least 2-3 classes with at least 6 guests in attendance or at least 1 class wherein I have 3 guests. I make sure I do not leave a party without booking.

2. Think of your Hostess as your Power Partner. As a Sales Director, I do a lot of mentoring and admin work for my unit. During these times, my Hostesses are out in the field looking for qualified guests in exchange for the Hostess gifts that I offered them. In short, even if I’m doing none income-producing activities, my Hostesses are making sure I keep earning.

3. Remember the 1-2-3s of Successful Bookings. For me, successful bookings have three outcomes: 1) future hostesses, 2) recruits and 3) preferred shoppers. The key to these results rely on 1) clear communication, 2) well-coached hostesses and 3) organized follow-through calls.

was one of the 3 Philippine Finalists who flew to Hong Kong last year for the 2014 Dream Beautiful Model Contest and proved that all it takes is talent, persistence and conviction in your dreams.

Q: Despite your young age, what fuelled your confidence to compete against the other makeup artists?

A: My passion fuelled me to compete against the more experienced makeup artists. I chose to join the Dream Beautiful Model Contest because I firmly believed that it would lead me one step closer to my dream of becoming a professional makeup artist.

Q: What did you learn or gain from joining the 2014 Dream Beautiful Model Contest and what was your most memorable or valuable experience?

A: I learned a lot from Mary Kay’s Celebrity Makeup Artist Luis Casco. He taught us the importance of color blending, the difference between everyday makeup and runway makeup looks and how to be creative and bold in playing around with colors. More importantly, I gained friends and established relationships with other models, fellow Beauty Consultants and our very hands-on mentor, Ms. Barbi Chan-Friebel. The highlight of my whole experience was when I shook hands with Luis Casco and, while looking me in the eyes, he told me, “Please continue doing makeup! You’re great!”

Q: What did you learn or discover about yourself throughout this contest?

A: From the beginning of the contest until after the Finale, I only had one thought in mind: “This is who I am and this is what I want to do.”

Q: What advice do you have for Beauty Consultants aspiring to join and represent the Philippines at the upcoming Dream Beautiful Contest?

A: First, always work as a team with your model. Don’t be afraid to ask or consult her and build a relationship with her. Also, always be optimistic and do your best. And, like me, believe that in Mary Kay, dreams do come true!
