Our journey begins in Munich, a city whose modern and classic culture blend in perfect harmony. Famous for Oktoberfest, this Bavarian capital city is equally well-known for its museums, opera and fine dining. The bucolic Bavarian scenery on the outskirts of town adds to the charm of the excellent course we play, Golfclub Wörthsee.

Privately chartered for this journey, our host vessel AmaCerto, is reserved entirely for our small group of invited guests. Passengers will appreciate the ship’s elegance, as well as the well-appointed suites and staterooms, most with private balconies. In 1994, we introduced the golf cruise, a new concept in travel. Chartering boutique ships, we began hosting a select number of country club members aboard what became our own private club afloat, escorting guests comfortably and stylishly to the top courses and touring destinations in Europe. Depart your home city on July 14 for an overnight flight to Munich, Germany. Upon arrival, you are greeted and transferred to the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. Golf: Golfclub Wörthsee

A prolific designer of courses throughout Europe, Kurt Rossknecht conceived this gem just west of Munich. Dotted with ponds and pine trees, this parkland layout gently rolls through the Bavarian countryside. From the tee, fairways are inviting, with doglegs and slight elevation changes the primary challenge; only a few holes present hazards on the drive. Greens are well-protected by bunkers and water hazards, and precision will be at a premium on approach. Golfclub Wörthsee is sure to be a fun opening round.

Our hotel is ideally situated to explore Old Town Munich. Via cobblestone streets, our private guide takes us in small groups to Marienplatz, the central city square, where a golden statue of the Virgin Mary rises. We visit the New City Hall, on whose façade is the famous Glockenspiel, as well as the smaller and simpler Old City Hall which was rebuilt in its present form in 1470 after it was destroyed by fire. From here, we explore the Viktualienmarkt, a gourmet market comprised of over 140 shops, and an ideal spot to find the perfect snack before we discover the expansive and beautiful English Garden. En route to Vilshofen, all guests tour today with our private guides before boarding AmaCerto this afternoon. Our cultural tour visits Nymphenburg Palace, summer residence of Bavarian royalty dating from the late 17th century. Alternatively, guests can choose to tour the BMW Museum or join our history tour, which visits the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial where we learn of the atrocities of the Holocaust and the courage of those who endured.

The peaceful hills and farmland of Bavaria provide an ideal setting for golf. Designed by Bernhard Langer, Beckenbauer is one of six golf courses that comprise the Quellness Golf Resort. Wonderfully conditioned, Beckenbauer regularly plays host to European Tour events, including the European Open. This parkland course is laid out over vast wetlands with water playing a role in navigating par on 13 holes.

Touring passengers explore the town of Passau on a guided walking tour. One of the oldest golf clubs in Linz and past host to the Austrian Open, this parkland gem promises a memorable round in the rolling foothills of the Alps. The course winds through forests, streams and lakes, with gentle undulations rippling through fairway and green. The setting represents layouts typical of Austria, with a refined sensibility on course and in the clubhouse.

A beautiful drive through the Austrian countryside brings us to Salzburg, where touring passengers explore this designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our guide leads us to the treasures of this city including the Old Town, Mozart’s birthplace, Festival Hall, Market Square, St. Peter’s District, the cathedral and Residenz Square.

Golfers take a well-deserved rest today as AmaCerto cruises through the Wachau Valley, one of the most beautiful and historic parts of Austria. We stop at Melk and tour the famous abbey, built in 1089 and located on a cliff overlooking the Danube. Following our visit to Melk, guests can choose to sail to Dürnstein aboard AmaCerto, or ride the bike paths that trace the river to meet AmaCerto in Dürnstein. One of the most picturesque towns along the Danube, Dürnstein is set at the foot of the castle where Richard the Lionhearted was imprisoned. Golf: colony club Gutenhof

Located just south of Vienna is Austria’s first 36-hole golf club—Colony Club Gutenhof, which has hosted both the European Tour’s Austrian Open and the Austrian Women’s Open. Its two parkland courses are set among century-old forests and winding streams. Golfers will have to accurately negotiate numerous water hazards and well-placed bunkers to score well at Gutenhof.

Vienna annually tops worldwide lists of “best places to live” and “best quality of life.” Over the next couple of days, we discover why with tours that provide a glimpse of Viennese life. Today, we tour some of the highlights of Vienna including the Hofburg complex and the 12th century St. Stephen’s Cathedral, then enjoy a training session of the Lippizaner stallions at The Spanish Riding School. After opening in 1997, Fontana Golf Club quickly established itself as arguably one of the best golf courses in Austria. Designed by course architect Doug Carrick, Fontana hosted the Austrian Open for a number of years. The bent grass greens and fairways are superbly maintained, adding to the enjoyment of playing this fine course—as do the tasty bratwursts offered at the halfway house.

We travel into the Hungarian countryside to Pannonia Golf & Country Club, located on a site that was a country home of the Habsburgs over 180 years ago. Nestled in the beautiful Máriavölgy Valley, this course, designed by Doug Carrick, features generous fairways, deep bunkers and imaginatively shaped greens. It is a wonderful closing round to our journey down the Danube.

From our docking location on the Danube, we are ideally situated to discover both halves of this exquisite city, Buda and Pest. Fly to Prague, where we spend three nights at the Four Seasons Hotel, ideally located by the Charles Bridge. Prague has some of the finest architecture in the world and this capital city survived both the socialist era and World War II relatively unscathed. Golfers play Karlštejn Golf Club, routed over a hilly, wooded landscape just outside Prague.

All passengers enjoy tours of the Old Town Square as well as Hradčany Castle, the official residence of the President of the Czech Republic, and location of St. Vitus Cathedral. Visits to Municipal Hall and the Jewish Quarter will be highlights of our tour.

Tour price is $2,485 per person, double occupancy in a Deluxe Room ($4,175 per person, double occupancy in a Premier River Room; $3,295 for a single in a Superior Room). T E R M S A N D C O N D I T I O N S

COST OF THE TRIP INCLUDESAccommodations: Accommodation for two nights at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich and for seven nights aboard AmaCerto.

Meals: All meals and cocktails aboard the ship during the voyage—American breakfast, lunch and dinner with table wines, afternoon tea and late-night snack; welcome reception; lunches while on golf excursions.

Transportation: Transfer from Munich Airport to Hotel Bayerischer Hof on July 15; transfer from AmaCerto to Budapest Airport on July 24 (additional charges may be incurred for transfers on other arrival or departure dates); round-trip transportation to golf courses and tour sites in deluxe, air-conditioned motorcoaches.

Golf: Six rounds of golf—18 holes per course (weather permitting); practice facility; golf carts or pull trolleys. Golf bag handling and advance set-up at each course. Courses listed are planned as of May 1, 2020, but may be altered due to a change in ship’s routing, course conditioning, tournament calendar or to enhance the program.

Tours: Comprehensive program of sightseeing tours; expert English-speaking national guides in each port of call; all entrance fees. Tours described may be altered due to circumstances that are unforeseen or beyond our control.

Staff: Kalos Tour Director to handle all logistical arrangements. Kalos Golf Director to coordinate golf operations.

Gratuities: All gratuities to porters, hotel staff, drivers, local tour guides, the ship’s crew and Kalos staff.

NOT INCLUDED IN TRIP COSTAirfares; port taxes; airport taxes; excess baggage charges; passports or visa expenses; travel insurance; items of a personal nature such as telephone and Internet charges, laundry, bar tabs off the ship, etc.; two dinners in Munich; any elective tour prior to July 15 and after July 23.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATIONS Final payment is due March 17, 2021.

At the time Kalos Golf receives written cancellation (via mail, fax or email), the following penalties apply:

On or before March 17, 2021: $500 per person

March 18–April 15, 2021: 25% of tour cost

April 16–May 15, 2021: 65% of tour cost

After May 15, 2021: 100% of tour cost

Above penalties also apply to extensions and independent travel arrangements made by Kalos Golf in conjunction with our program. For the Prague Extension Tour, an additional $500 per person non-refundable deposit is required for confirmation. Airfare penalties are determined by the individual airlines.

If canceled space is resold prior to the date of departure, an amount equal to the sum received for resale, less $500 per person, will be refunded.

INSURANCEInsurance programs are available at additional cost. An application for trip cancellation and interruption insurance will be mailed with your confirmation. For your protection, travel insurance is strongly recommended.VISASIn addition to a valid passport, a visa may also be required for some of our programs. It is your responsibility to check with the appropriate countries for their visa requirements based on your citizenship and to secure the necessary documentation for your trip.ITINERARIESHotel, accommodations, golf and sightseeing venues are all subject to change due to circumstances that are unforeseen or beyond our control. Flight and/or train itineraries are subject to change due to government regulations, weather conditions, and other factors. PHOTOGRAPHY ON THE TRIPThe right is reserved to take photographs during the operation of any trip and to use trip photography for promotional purposes. Any traveler who prefers that his/her image not be used must inform Kalos Golf in writing. RESPONSIBILITYKalos Tours ON, LLC (doing business as Kalos Golf) and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, contractors, and subcontractors act only as the agent for the travelers to any transportation carrier, hotel, restaurant, ground operator, or other suppliers of services connected with this trip (“other providers”), and the other providers are solely responsible and liable for providing their respective services. We can assume no liability for any damage to, or loss of, property and injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly, by any act or omission, including but not limited to any defect in aircraft, watercraft, or vehicle. We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, damage or inconvenience due to delay, cancellation, or disruption in any manner caused by any government or agent thereof, strikes, war, rebellion, terrorism,

insurrection, fire, weather and other acts of nature, sickness, quarantine, epidemics, theft, acts of God or force majeure, or any other cause(s) beyond our control. The travelers waive any claim against Kalos Tours ON, LLC its affiliates, owners, officers, agents, employees, contractors, and subcontractors for any such loss, damage, injury, or death.This is an active trip, which requires you to make a realistic assessment of your health. All travelers are expected to be in active good health, to be comfortable traveling as part of a group, and to be ready to experience cultural differences with grace. Walking and climbing stairs are required in many locations, during golf and as part of many excursions. The travelers represent that neither they nor anyone traveling with them have any physical or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for self or other members of the tour. The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain anyone as a trip participant, at his/her expense. In the event of emergency, the travelers authorize medical personnel to share critical health information with tour staff to help expedite appropriate medical response.
