couch and out on a Nature Camp adventure!Metroparks offers a variety of camps including:new camps for adults, families, teens, newovernight camping, plus new locations at SwanCreek and Side Cut Metroparks. courage of the slaves who risked everythingto escape bondage and the conductors whodefied the law and followed their conscienceto aid the runaways.
The contest is for students in grades 5-8with separate prompts for grades 5-6 and7-8. Teachers will be asked to submit oneessay per class.
Prizes will be awarded to individual students
in each age group. There will be one firstplace prize ($50 cash) and two honorablementions ($25 cash) per age group. Studentsaccompanied by parents will receive theiraward at the May 6 meeting of the Friendsof the Lathrop House.
