Young Leaders Induction - save the date!Senior badge holders, Student Representative Council members, Student Ambassadors (Years 8-11) and House Captains will receive their badges during a special ceremony evening on Thursday27 February at the Gympie Civic Centre.

Guests are invited to join staff from the school between 6.00pm - 6.30pm for light refreshments inthe foyer, followed by a short guest speech and badge ceremony in the Heritage Theatre. Formalhard-copy invites will be provided to students in the coming weeks on year level assemblies.

Senior jersey reminders

The first order for the 2020 senior jersey has arrived at the school and the jerseys have beenissued to students. The second order for the 2020 senior jersey will be placed on 21 February2020.

The cost of the jersey is $75, due to Student Services on or before 21 February.

Jerseys from the second order will arrive at the school in the first couple of weeks of Term 2,ahead of the winter months.

Students wanting to purchase a jersey need to inform the Senior Jersey Co-ordinator, Mr Jenkins,of their size (sizing jerseys provided) and the name to be printed on the back of the jersey(Christian or surname only) in advance of the order being placed.

Students with outstanding payments to the school will not be allowed to purchase a senior jerseyuntil all other payments are finalised.

Any queries regarding the senior jerseys should be directed to Mr Jenkins (54806359).

Reminder: opportunityfor parents to opt out of'True' program Karen Browning, School Based Youth Health Nurse

A reminder to parents and caregivers that an educator from'True Relationships and Reproductive Health’ will be visitingour school to deliver the All School program. The sessionsare age appropriate and mapped to the Australian HPEcurriculum.

For further information about the content of the student sessions, please refer to the ‘TrueRelationships and Reproductive Health’ website here.

Year 7 and 8 cohorts will have their session during Term 1, and Years 9 and 10 sessions arescheduled for Term 2, 2020.
