Greetings Harelson Parents: Thank you for all your support in getting your children to school on time and helping to encourage them to do their very best on the state assessments. Student Dress Code Reminder: As we move into the hot weather , please remember the dress code. Examples of prohibited attire include, but are not limited to:

Muscle shirts, spaghetti strap tops, tank tops with shoulder straps less than two (2) inches

Mesh sports jerseys without undershirts.

Shorts and skirts must cover the buttocks and extend down to cover at least three (3) inches of the legs.

The Amphitheater School Art Show: The Tucson Mall Welcomes Amphitheater Schools Art Show from April 12-26. Kindergarten through high school artwork will be displayed. Come and view all the beautiful art work of Harelson students.

students early on TUESDAY.

Harelson Students Jump Rope For the American Heart

Association!

On Friday, March 10th, Harelson students participated in the Jump-A-

Thon. The students raised funds to benefit the American Heart Association by asking family and friends to sponsor them for participating in this physical fitness activity. The money raised will fund American Heart Association research and

educational programs.

Harelson students raised $9,146 for the American Heart Association. GREAT JOB

EVERYONE! We are very proud of our students!

Thanks to all the Harelson students for participating in this event. Special thanks to PE

Coach, Becky Cozart, the Harelson Student Council, Shauna Thomas, Susie Herman, Jill

Neubert, Laura Hobbs, the Harelson Teachers and Staff, and Parent Volunteers who helped on this day. Thanks to all who donated Eegee’s and

equipment.

Returning Student Registration Forms for 2017-18

A fillable PDF copy of the Returning Student Registration Forms will be emailed to families on Monday, April 10th. Please check your email and/or any spam or junk files.

Once completed, print and sign all the forms and return to school. Completed packets are due to the school by Monday, April 24, 2017. Hard copies will be available in

the office if needed.

Each year, we are required to have current registration on all students. Please understand, if we do not receive completed registration

information, your child will not be placed on a class list for next year.

Although all the box tops have been accounted and submitted for the 2016-2017 school year, please continue to collect box tops and send them to Harelson. They will be eligible for next year’s program. Each box top that you cut out and send to the school is worth a dime. There is a large collection bucket in the office. Box tops can be placed directly in the bucket or they may be given to the teachers to send to the office.
