2018 ENROLMENT APPLICATIONS

Priority of access offers and first round offers commenced this week and will continue into next week. Please ensure you read the offer carefully and respond to the offer within three working days.

Thank you to all parents for your cooperation with the transition to the new online system. We will work through the applications as quickly as possible and hope to be in a position to confirm enrolments by mid-November.

Once again, the number of applications exceed the number of places available for after school care in 2018. With this in mind, please ensure you inform us of any changes to your care requirements as soon as possible.

If you have submitted an enrolment but have an outstanding account, we will be unable to consider your application.

FEES & INVOICES

Invoices for care in week ending 22/10/17 were emailed out this week with payment due Friday, November 3.

DECEMBER/JANUARY HOLIDAY DATES

With Christmas and the new year period fast approaching, we have had parents asking about our program dates for the January period. Before and after school care will run as normal up to the last day of term, Friday December 22. The program will re-open on Wednesday, January 3.

MONDAY OF MELBOURNE CUP WEEKEND

If your child will be absent from school and/or OSHC on the Monday before Melbourne Cup Day,

please inform us as soon as possible so we can roster staff accordingly.

GREENS GALORE!

We’re always excited when we can use our own produce, straight from garden to plate. Heather’s been doing just that, this week with delicious results!

We’re happy to share so if you would like us to pick you something to take home for your own table, let us know.

WELCOME TO NEW STAFF

My name is Kyla and I am in my first year of a Bachelor of Education (Primary).

My interests include playing football, hiking reading, fitness and playing with my two dogs, Louie and Shelby.

I live at home with my mum, brother, my two dogs and my guinea pig, Freddie.

I am excited about the opportunity to join the team at OSHC and am looking forward to getting to know all of the children and their families.

P-3 VIPS

Next week we will be implementing a new reward system for students in Prep-3. Raffle tickets will be awarded to those who demonstrate the types of behaviours we like to see at OSHC; kindness, using manners, being open minded or helpful, showing encouragement, just to name a few.

Three students from each of the Prep to 3 groups will be nominated each afternoon. Those students will go in the draw which will be held on Friday afternoon. The winner will be the VIP for the following week with some very exciting privileges.
