STYLE

The architecture style of the buildings located at in

Pittsburg, PA are typically traditional style. These

building are between 20 to 40 feet wide and 60 to 200

feet deep. The building usually have masonry walls and

wooden floors. The traditional streetscape is like

walking through a well curated art exhibit. The builders

use the same wall structural that they use for their

floors, this was the cheater. All efforts should be made

to emphasize the three-dimensionality of the facade and

the building: elements that create shadow and depth in

the facade such as, recessed window, cornices, columns

& pilasters. Despite these challenges, more and more

developers are bringing mixed-use facilities to

suburban areas, with a mix of modern feel.

PART I: CONCEPT STATEMENT CONCEPT STATEMENT

The newly renovation of the three bedroom residential space will create an experiential architecture that unfolds for the client needs and wants. The residential space will have a Scandinavian modern style, and the perfect color scheme of blue and orange. The home's entry doubles as a floor to ceiling art gallery packed with one of kind creations appealing to the entire family. A foyer table in matching gold trim provides an excellent surface for displaying family photos, intimate lighting and accessories. In the living space will be a white fabric sectional with blunt orange window panels and accent wall in blue, that complement the design for this space. The style is not simply throwing together everything and anything, but rather relies heavily on the building blocks of design color, pattern, texture, and composition, to make the space look cohesive. A clean, streamlined furniture and architecture style is characterized by its color palette, polished surfaces, and strong geometric shapes and asymmetry design. A heavily layered look consisting of intricately patterned fabrics, colorful mosaics, metal tables and chairs, bold, jewel-toned colors, and beautiful accent rugs and pillows in luxurious fabrics. This space will meet my client needs and give them a scarification with the design.

Oh the colors blue & orange, what a fun and unique pair they make. Such a soft and pretty color

palette, love how the color orange is balanced by the soft cool shade of blue. The perfect color

palette for any Interior Design. Orange and blue are something special especially in these

shades. The blue and orange will be displayed as accent color throughout the space. You would

see the colors on the window panels, pillows, rugs and paintings. Giving the space warm and

cool color palette, something extra with the Scandinavian modern style in consideration.

Energy conservation factors such as user behavior, occupancy patterns, commissioning and maintenance all play a major role. Energy codes focus on

the design and construction, framework for influencing efficiency. Being comfortable in your own space is important, and presents limited

opportunities. Achieving serious energy efficiency will explore realizable design approaches for the project. The surrounding factors help us to have air, heat, entertainment, lighting, and electronic. Being able to cook, and having

storage that is efficient for the food is conservation. Clarify selection of appropriate strategies for residential building types, is an example of energy

conservation, and based on goals, climate and budget are important factors. In this way we promote the preserving of the design, and the client is satisfied.

Master Bedroom View Master Bath

The study model is the master bedroom. I chose this layout because I wanted to see how it would work for my clients and because the bathroom has two sinks. I used foam broad, glue, and a blade to create my model. The elements that could be modified would be the space of the bedroom, adding a night stand or two and a chair can achieve a better symmetrical balance. The pleasing proportions of the model is seen in the dresser, if it was smaller I could see what else is needed to open up the space. The scale play the role that immediately feels right, the proportions are good and there's not too little or too much furniture. The windows would be the dominant and forms seen in this design. I love the light that the windows give, and how it makes the space appear to be big and more open. The overall process was fun and challenging. The study model is a great example of what my clients visualize for their space.

OVERVIEW

The cabinet will be custom built in the living room, for books and displays. The cabinet

is made of a solid oak wood, that is perfect for Scandinavian Design idea. The

design has a glass shelf, with regular style shelf on the second area. The third shelf has an x design for the shelf's. There are two drawers for storage. This would look

nicely in the Stark’s newly home.
