The Ste. Anne Lions Club put on a fan-tastic kite festival for their first year. The wind was just right for kite flyingThe Lions offered the community a fun af-fordable family event, you could bring yourown kite or purchase one on site, Get yourface painted and have lunch everythingwas priced at $1. "We were thrilled to see so many youngpeople out getting there kite up is the airfor the first time ever, people came out asfar as Ontario to come enjoy some familyfun. One family made their own kite athome for the event and I couldn’t believeit was up about 300 feet. The Ste. Annelions club looks forward to do it againnext year". Said organizer Rick McPherson. The Lions try and put on monthly Fam-ily events any funds raised at the eventsgoes back into the community where it isneeded most.
