ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS 2022

St Norbert College’s Academic Scholarship is named after St Frederick Feikone, the son of a poor widow from Hallum in Friesland. His priestly vocation was noticed in his early years when his pastor gave him his first Latin instructions. St Frederick studied the liberal arts and the Holy Scriptures at Münster and became a teacher before being ordained a priest.

Middle School Scholarships are offered to students of high academic ability who have excelled in the Scholarship Test.

SCHOLARSHIP VALUE

The Academic Scholarship covers the full tuition fees for Years 7 to Year 9 and is offered to Year 7 students in 2022. If the student performs at an excellent academic level, the Scholarship for the tuition fees will continue for subsequent years of the Scholarship term.

SELECTION CRITERIA

The selection criteria will include

• PerformanceintheScholarshipexamination

• Aninterview(ifrequired)

• Schoolreports

• NAPLANresults

SCHOLARSHIP TEST

To assist in the selection process, an ACER Scholarship Selection Test of two hours duration will be administered on Saturday, 8 May 2021 commencing at 9.30am. The Scholarship Registration Fee is $95.

Expectations of successful Academic Scholarship students are as follows:

Scholarships are reviewed annually and may be forfeited if the above expectations are not met.
