What is inetDOCS for Dropbox?
Step 1
The inetDOCS for Dropboxmodule, developed by inetSYNX, offers the power ofDropbox
into SugarCRM.
The objective of this module is to replace the Documents module ofSugarCRM with a new
one, based on an Dropbox structure.
inetDOCS for Dropboxconnects to Dropbox with the current SugarCRMusers
credentials, and lists the Folders and Documents stored in Dropbox in a look-alike view.
All users rights on Folders and Documents defined in Dropbox are applied.

Step 1
Now that your two applications and clouds are linked together, without any need of IT
assistance or skills, you can enjoy:
A window to the Dropbox repository from SugarCRM (as a tab/module)
A complete integration the with SugarCRM subpanels made with the Studio,
including custom modules created with the Module Builder. You can link Foldersand Documents to any entry of any module.

inetDOCS for Dropbox provides you functionalities to upload your Documentsand create relationships with other records without leaving SugarCRM. Here is a

Integration in the shortcut bar (top blue bar available in SugarCRM
Professional, Corporate and Ultimate).
Automatic installation through the SugarCRM module loader
Possibility to create new language packs.
Browse Contents and Spaces in a ListView.
Drag and drop documents from anywhere in SugarCRM
Link a Space or a Content to another module ofSugarCRM through subpanels.

From here, you need to browse your files
to find the downloaded package and
upload it.
Then, it will appear in the bottom panel
where you will be able to install it. The
next steps are described during the
installation.
3.1 Installation
The package you have downloaded (inetDOCS-Dropbox-vx.x.zip) must be installed on SugarCRM.
As for any plugin, the installation takes place via theAdministration/Module Loader.

3.2 Configuration
3.2.1 Settings
Go to the inetDOCS Dropbox Configuration section of the SugarCRMAdministration. You need to identify
your SugarCRM in Dropbox (you can do it here : https://www.dropbox.com/developers/apps).
Customer Key: it corresponds to theApp keyfield on the created application in Dropbox.
Secret Key: it corresponds to theApp secretfield on the created application in Dropbox.
Redirect URL: the URL to which users will be redirected after filling in their Dropbox credentials.
It must be a public address to access your SugarCRM.
3.2. 2 Select users
Go to the inetDOCS users section of the SugarCRM admin and select which users will be allowed to useinetDOCS for Dropbox.
Then users will have to click on the inetSYNX user settings link in the top right menu to type their
Dropbox credentials before they can use inetDOCS for Dropbox.

Using inetDOCS for Dropbox
4.1 Configuration
Before starting using inetDOCS for Dropbox, users must set a default folder in which Documents
will be uploaded.
This can be set in the tab inetDOCS Dropbox of inetSYNX User Settings. Click on the button Edit and
select the folder you want. You can find here the two first levels of Folders.
4.2 ViewsThe default view ofinetDOCS for Dropboxis the ListView, as for any SugarCRM modules.
4.2.1 ListView
It displays the workspaces in which the logged user can access. By clicking on a workspace name,
its Folders and Documents are displayed and the hierarchy of Dropbox is preserved. For each
Folder or Documents there is:
Its title
Its mime type
Its date of creation
The date of its last modification

Folders are identifiable by the icon . You can access its sub Folders and Documents by
clicking on its title.
Documents are identifiable by different icons according to their type (e.g.: MicrosoftWord, Adobe PDF, Image).

4.3 Interactions with a Content
4.3.1 Upload a Content
Drag and drop
You can drag and drop them onto the shortcut bar of
SugarCRM. It will open a popup showing a progress bar
while your files are uploading. When it is done, you can
close it by clicking on the link Close.
Depending on the opened page in SugarCRM, the action differs:
When you are in inetDOCS module, your documents will be added to the
current location
When you are anywhere else, your documents will be added in your home
folder (or the root folder if you do not have home folder set)
If you are in a Detail View of a module in relationship with inetDOCS,
relationships between the current record and the uploaded documentsare created

4.3.2 Download a Content
To download a Content, click on the icon from inetDOCS for Dropbox
subpanels.
4.4 Limitations
If you rename or move a folder or a document in Dropbox, you will loose
its relationships in SugarCRM. It happens because Dropbox considers that
you remove the folder or document and create a new one.
