Management Team

John R Torrel III (Chairman)

John Torell is a Partner of Core Capital Group, a private equity investment firm and has been Chairman or President of a number of major American banking institutions and has participated in virtually all phases of the financial services industry. John is the former President of Manufacturers Hanover Corporation and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company, and the former Chairman, President and CEO of CalFed Inc. He was also the Chairman and CEO of Fortune Bancorp, Tampa , as well as the Chairman of Telesphere, Inc. John is currently a Director of Wyeth and a number of private companies. He previously served as a Trustee of Columbia University's Graduate School of Business as well as a Director of the Juilliard Foundation, the Financial Services Corporation of New York , the New York State Banker's Association and the New York State Banking Board. He is also the Chairman of the International Executive Services Corps, a non profit organization providing executive volunteers to developing countries and emerging democracies. He graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Economics and studied at New York University's Graduate School of Business and the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management at Dartmouth.

Naresh Ponnapa (President and CEO)

Naresh Ponnapa has worked in various senior capacities within the Unilever organization for 21 years, both in India and abroad. He was a key member of Unilever’s core Mergers & Acquisitions team in London and a Special Assistant to the Chairmen of Unilever. On joining Hindustan Lever Limited (HLL), (Market Capitalization > US $10 billion) he became the youngest member on its Board. Prior to founding Indecomm Global Services, Naresh was the COO/Operating partner in Connect Capital and was also responsible for identifying investment opportunities in the BPO space. He is currently on the Board of several BPO companies.

C.V Prakash (President - Strategic Initiatives)

Prakash is the principal founder of TRRS Imaging Ltd. He has over 18 years of experience in Information Technology. He has worked with leading computer firms in India, and was associated with the implementation of imaging solutions for various multinational companies in India and overseas. Prakash has been a part of the data capture industry since its inception in India and is recognized as a thought leader in this space. Prakash has a degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering.

Rajan Nair (Chief Sales and Marketing Officer)

Prior to joining Indecomm, Rajan Nair was the CEO of ikigo Inc, of which he was also the co-Founder. At ikigo, Rajan successfully led the development and marketing of a unique monitoring software solution to Fortune 500 companies. Before starting ikigo, Rajan had served as COO at SeraNova Inc, a NASDAQ-listed e-Business Services Company. He has the requisite blend of experience and expertise for creating and managing a high growth offshore IT services and outsourcing company. Rajan’s areas of expertise include business strategy development and execution, global organization and development, sales & marketing and eBusiness/Internet solutions. Rajan has received a Bachelor of Commerce from Bombay University and a Cost and Management Accountant degree from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

Maria Elena Amirault (Senior Vice President - US Operations)

Maria Elena Amirault has over two decades of experience in the Financial Services industry and customer oriented enterprises. During the course of her professional experience, Maria has executed diverse functions across leading financial services institutions in the country including Bank of America, Fortune Bank and Florida National Bank. Prior to joining Indecomm, Maria was a Senior Manager reporting directly to the CEO at Central Florida Euro Car's, a leading car dealership working with some of the most reputed automotive brands. At Central Florida Euro Car's Maria anchored end to end responsibilities, from management of relationships at the factory level to the actual management of the entire business.

Rajan Nair (Senior Vice President-Global Sales and Marketing)

Anand is co-founder of TRRS Imaging Ltd. Anand is among the world’s leading specialists in Imaging technology. He has over 15 years of experience in forms/data recognition technology, process flow, and workflow management. He specializes in the application of technology to specific areas in remittance processing - in financial services and claims related transactions in the healthcare industry. Anand leads the technology initiatives at Indecomm in the areas of Application Integration, Advance Forms Capture, XML Capture and Content Management. Anand holds an Engineering degree in Computer Science.

Sudha A Prakash (Senior Vice President - Human Resources)

Sudha, who joined the founding team of TRRS Imaging, is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in Banking & Consulting. Sudha was part of the inception team at Citibank Cards in India and was involved in recruitment, training, customer service and operations for Citibank, India. During the institution of the credit cards call center facility, Sudha was responsible for review and for quality in operations. Sudha has also worked as a consultant in India’s leading management consultancy.

Vidya Ravikumar (Vice President - India Operations)

Vidya has extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Amongst others, she has worked with companies such as Citibank, GE Capital, Intelenet Global Services and Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to joining Indecomm, she was the National Collections Head for Standard Chartered Bank.
