• Hyrax Oil Sdn Bhd was founded by Dato’ Hazimah Zainuddinin 1991. The company manufactures petroleum derivatives such astransformer oil and lubricants (automotive, industrial and marine).
• Hyrax Oil manufactures numerous products including lubricants,transformer oils, specialty fluids for various applications. Themanufacturing plant resides in Meru, Klang.
• Exports to more than 35 countries primarily in Middle East, Africa andAsia Pacific.
• Products of Hyrax Oil are certified by international bodies such as API(American Petroleum Institute), MTU Friedrichshafen and ACEA(European Automobile Manufacturers Association) and are accreditedby independent laboratories such as Doble (USA) and Laborelec(Belgium).
• Hyrax Oil has a joint collaboration with a South African manufacturingplant in Johannesburg to supply the products into the markets in theSouthern African countries. In addition, Hyrax Oil has invested US$13million to build a blending lubricant plant in Sri Lanka which will beoperational this year.
