Spring is in the Air

Spring is in the air: I say this both literally and figuratively. It is

already March and spring is in the air (most days, LOL) in Colo-

rado. But we also feel that spring is in the air at In Motion Minis-

tries. Over the past year we have seen tremendous growth in sev-

eral key areas at IMM, such as:

Staff Member Training – Cindy Kinoshita, after a year of

training, is now fully running our short-term mission trip

planning department.

Short-term Mission Team Leaders – we have seen a tremen-

dous growth in the number of leaders on our team and they

are quickly moving through their training.

Connections – we are enjoying our connections with other

ministries as we work together in the gospel. We are working

with one group in particular that I believe will be a huge part-

nership over time. And, that is just one of the many great min-

istries we are working with. I will not name names, because I

would likely leave someone out.

Growth – IMM will break two key barriers in 2012; we will send

more than 10 mission teams to the field and we will send more

than 150 team members – both breaking our records for a sin-

gle year. And with the connections mentioned above, we will

do even more in 2013 and beyond.

Operation One Billion – we currently have four year-long bible

school units in hand which we will place on the mission field

in 2012. These bible schools will impact thousands of people

and have a huge impact in years to come.

Partnerships – We had a company come along side IMM last

year to help us get our message out by helping us bring our

marketing efforts up to speed with current technology. We are

beginning to see the fruit of these efforts. And, as of last

month, we are working on a partnership agreement with a

ministry that will allow us to offer them our strength in short-

term mission trip planning expertise. They in turn will offer us

their marketing and networking expertise. It should be an

amazing joint venture.

Your MONEY – I am pleased to be able to report to you that

when you give to IMM you are giving to the gospel, to mis-

sions work! We are not building big expensive buildings or

paying high salaries, rather 85% of all money given to IMM

goes directly into missions work. Our building is provided to

us by a generous donor at $1 per year. Our staff donate hun-

dreds of hours in labor per year and, for the most part, raise

their own financial support.
