FM CONDITION Too many number of existing FM sound

broadcasting licenses particularly in major cities.

Example: Jakarta and surrounding (40 kms radius)..pops: + 25 millions: 57 FM stations City of Jakarta (kls A) : 42, Tangerang : 5, Bogor and Depok: 7,

Bekasi : 3 Most of broadcasters has its own

infrastructures such as tower, backhaul (studio transmitter link), etc.

“Technical competitions” currently happened in FM Broadcasters (coverage and audio quality)

Different tower locations, overlapped coverage, quality of service in several areas is not good, potential interference to other radiocommunication services such as aeronautical services.
