English Language School

Program OverviewEnglish ProgramsILAC offers 17 different levels of English. Students placed in levels 1-11 will take General English courses, while students placed levels 12 and higher will take Advanced English Courses. Students will develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills as well as their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and idioms.

From level 10 students may choose to prepare for one of the main fluency exams, TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge FCE & CAE. Students will develop confidence and techniques in test taking.

You can choose your program intensity, 20 or 30 lessons. Both programs are available for all students, regardless of your English level or the length of your program. Each lesson is 45 minutes and classes run from 1:30 pm-4:30 pm for 20 lessons and 1:30 pm-6:00 pm for 30 lessons.

Activities for TeenagersStudents have the opportunity to visit the most exciting sights in each city and participate in many fun and interactive activities. These activities are included in the Platinum and Gold Packages and if you choose tuition only, activities are available upon your arrival to ILAC.

AccommodationHomestay & ResidenceStudents may choose to live in a private room or share a room with another student of the same gender and different native language. Home-stay accommodation includes 3 meals per day, 7 days per week. This is the most popular option for teenager students since living with a Canadian family is a great way to practice English and learn from other cultures. Students can also choose to live in a Residence where they will live in a single room and share a bathroom with other students. Meal plans are available upon request. This option is popular for groups coming with a leader.

Airport Pick-up & Drop-off ServiceWhen arriving in Toronto or Vancouver, the student will be picked up at the airport by an ILAC representative. The representative will take the student to the Homestay family or Residence. The student will also be taken to the airport at the end of the study program.

Verónica Sánchez Nop, i haven't been there, the second time i decide to go, people from travel agency recomended Vancouver, but the �rst time i was there, ILAC decided my homestay family, so they were great and we had an excellent connection, so i decided... to come back to Toronto, to be at ILAC school, to see friends who were living there, and to come Back to the same Homestay Family (another thing i have to thanks ILAC) i still keep in touch with my family (great homestay's selection), 3 times i stayed with them and they also come back to YucatAn, MÉxico!!
