By removing the painstaking and time consuming time to terminate fiber optic cabling in the field and putting it in a controlled environment, you can be assured that your fiber optic connections have the best possible dB loss rating available. The ASD Snap ‘n Glo MTP® connectors provide quick connection for multi-mode and single-mode optical fibers. Connection integrity is provided by the spring action side latch housing and alignment is achieved with high precision guide pins. The housings are colored-coded to differentiate single-mode and multimode. Removable housings allow for quick change of pin clamps, ferrule cleaning or connector re-polishing. IGLO-ITS MTP® components are manufactured to IEC standards 1754-7 and TIA/EIA 604-5 – Type MPO. The MTP connector snaps into cassettes that break out the fiber into your connector of choice. Cassettes are available in LC, SC, MT-RJ and ST. The fiber optic cassettes are housed in rack or wall mounted enclosures. A 1U rack mounted enclosure that house up to 72 strands. Snap ‘n Glo is available in plenum and non-plenum as well as metal clad armored jackets. To order, you specify your length and fiber type and we’ll do the rest.
