The facility to house this R&D centre of excellence will be circa 12,000m2 and comprise test facilities, including chassis dynometers, powertrain dynometers, engine test cells, gas analysers, office space, display/ presentation areas and welfare facilities. This is a complex project due to the requirement to integrate and large number of third party equipment manufacturers (who were not confirmed during the early design stages) into the base build element, ensuring that building critical services were not obstructing any operationally critical services. D2i Management are leading the client team for both the initial base and the fit-out/ interaction with the third party suppliers for the equipment installation.
