Pastor Femi Ako and Pas-tor Tolu-walope Ste-

phen has emerged as, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Redeemed Chris-tian Church of God, Workers Fund. They were elected into these offices during the 15th Annual Gen-eral Meeting of the Workers Fund, held on May 4th 2016, at the Redemption Resort, Redemption Camp.

In his management report to share hold-ers, Pastor Femi Ako said “Our member-ship figure stood at 2,032, as at the close of business on the 31st of December, 2014. During the year under review 56 members withdrew their memberships

The executive Gov-ernor of Ogun State, Senator Ibi-kunle Amosun has

declared that the Redeemed Christian Church of God is a place where God an-swers prayers. He made this known during the 2016 Ogun State Investor’s Fo-rum, where he highlighted that since Ogun State is the religious capital of Africa, it won’t be out of place to state that she is highly blessed.

He said, ‘’this is Ogun State where prayers are answered. You know we have RCCG, Deeper Life, MFM and various denomi-nations in the state, we can say, it is a place where God answers prayers.’’

In a televised broadcast, Governor Amosun was full of thanks to the denomina-tions for impacting the state positively and also narrated how his regime had gone a long way to meet the needs

French church grows in Redemption Camp

November 2013 made provision for the estab-lishment of a French Church, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pariosse Du Miracle

(Miracle Parish) Ogun province 4, to cater for the French nationals within and around the Redemption Camp.

Located at the House Fellowship secretariat, opposite the Nation-al Kitchen, the church which was born as a result of complaints by the French Community who stopped attending services at any of the parishes because they did not understand what was being preached has continued to grow.

According to the Pastor in charge of the parish, Pastor Amaglo Dieud-onne, the church which holds all services in French with interpreta-tion in English, has an average attendance of 50 people in attendance during Sunday services and mid-week services. The children department also teaches French to children who do not un-derstand the language.

Speaking with Mr. Elise Doutey, a mem-ber of the parish he said “when I initially relocated to the camp, I was attending an En-glish speaking parish and I later realized that I didn’t understand all that was said. I had to stop until I located this French church.”

The General Ov e r s e e r of the Re-d e e m e d Chr i s t i an

Church of God, Pas-tor E.A. Adeboye di-rected that, Saturday, 28 May, 2016 be observed as GLOB-AL EVANGELISM DAY in all our churches/parishes all over the world. On that day, every mem-ber of the Redeemed Christian Church of God is expected to go out with tracts and public address

Also, to give all the staff in the various departments in the Redemption Camp an opportunity to be part of the out-reach, a training exercise facilitated by, Admin/Person-nel Department and The Central Mission Board on Evangelism took place at the Pro-

vincial Coordinating Hall beside RCCG National Secretariat, Redemption Camp on Thursday, May 26th, 2016.

At exactly 2pm on Friday May 27th, 2016, all the depart-ments were grouped into four for the evangelism activities which took place in Mowe, Car Park C & Mechanic Village,

Ibafo and Shima-wa as communities neighbouring the Re-demption camp.

The outreach was a success as; one hun-dred and eighty souls were won for Christ by Redemption Camp staff during the exercise.

The pastorate and members of Amaz-ing Grace Assembly, Ogun 4 youth head-quarters, Redemp-tion Camp added a twist to this day by moving to Lobu-ro road, along La-gos-Ibadan Express-way to participate in the monthly environ-mental sanitation. To fulfil the mandate

of evangelism and community service, the youths trooped out with their shov-els, rakes and bin bags as they raked the gutters not caring what others would say.

While some cleared the drainages, some engaged passers-by, residents and traders along the route in chat about the gos-pel of Jesus Christ. Souls were won to Christ during this ex-ercise to the glory of God.

There is no doubt that the Nigeria of to-day is not what

it used to be in the past. One does not need a soothsayer to declare that we are indeed in a trying period. For in-stance, most Nigerians can no longer afford three square meals per day. The prices of var-ious food items have gone up astronomical-ly, beyond the reach of the average man on the street.

A survey l conducted recently at the pop-ular Daleko Market, Mushin –Lagos shows a frightening result. The most frightening was that of a basket of Tomatoes which now sells for about N35,000.00 instead of the former N5,000.00.

Dafe David

Nigeria: In Times Like This

Also, a bag of Rice that formerly sells for about N12,000.00 now sells for N14,500; a paint bucket of Garri now sells for between N600.00 to N700.00 instead of the former N350/N400; just to mention a few. The present situation has led to conflicts in some families with husbands/wives venting their anger on each other

because of non avail-ability of food thereby corroborating the say-ing “that a hungry man is an angry man.”

To add salt to injury, the electricity supply has fallen to an all time low in the annals of this country and what do we see these days; Men, women, boys and girls with Jerry Cans searching for pet-rol to power their Gen-erators, that is if the money is even there to purchase it. Despite the epileptic electricity supply, most consum-ers are slammed with

“crazy” bills that are out of this world.

The rate of unem-ployment presently has reached its crescendo with many manufactur-ing companies closing

shops due to very high costs of production as most of them run their machineries with Gen-erating plants powered by diesel.

The recent increase in the pump price of premium motor spir-it (PMS) from Eighty Six (N86) naira to One Hundred and For-ty Five naira (N145) has not helped mat-

ters. One of the major fall out of this was the increase in transport fares and because of this it is not uncom-mon these days to wit-ness ugly incidences of Bus Conductors ex-changing blows with passengers over argu-ments concerning hike in transport fares.

There is a high level of insecurity in the land with the Boko Haram onslaught in the North East, the activities of the Niger Delta Aveng-ers in the South-South, the rampaging Fulani Herdsmen in the Mid-dle Belt and the South East, and kidnappings; all threatening the very fabric of the Country These are indeed try-ing times for a great country like ours and we can go on and on

highlighting the chal-lenges that people go through. However, there is an urgent need to proffer solutions to these myriad of prob-lems that we have found ourselves in.

More than ever before, we must all turn to God because the Bible says in 2 Chronicles 7:14 that, “ if my peo-ple, who are called by

my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” In one accord, more than ever before, we should all lift our voices in soberness with genu-ine repentance to God asking for His mercies; definitely He will sure-ly hear and answer us speedily. This is be-cause, Numbers 23:19 says that “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should re-pent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall He not make it good.”

Look at the situation the people of Samaria

found themselves in 2 Kings 6:24-30; 7:1-end and how the Lord did the miraculous. Just over night, the very hopeless fam-ine scenario became a case of abundance. I can see the Lord turn-ing around everything for our good in this country in the not too distant future in Jesus mighty name, Amen. As believers, we

should constantly pray and intercede on be-half of those in author-ity. This is because they did not get to that position on their own accord; God put them there according to Ro-mans 13:1-2.

The word of God in Romans 13:4 describe those in authority as His Ministers, so we must always pray for them to govern us well. Therefore we can safe-ly say that our Presi-dent, His Excellency Mohammadu Buhari is a Minister of God and all others in positions of authority are all Ministers of the Most High.

Our duty once again is to commit them into the hands of the Lord for wisdom and the right frame of mind to lead us aright and not to join others to criti-cize them, but submit to them that are in au-thority (Romans 13:1-2; Ephesians 6:5-8).Also, more than ever before, we should learn always to confess positively. The power of positive confession can never be over esti-mated. This is because Proverbs 18:21 says that death and life are in power of the tongue. As you begin to con-fess with your tongue the various promises of the Lord in the Bi-ble and you back them up with works (James 2:17), the situation will begin to turn around for our good in Jesus name, Amen.

Surprisingly, in times like this, l will strong-ly recommend that the best time to sow is now. In the period of famine like in the days of Isaac in Genesis 26:1-14, he sowed and it was recorded that he waxed great and be-

came very great. You can sow in the area of tithing, no matter how small (Malachi 3:8-10), offerings (Luke 6:38), first fruit and above all Charity (ren-dering help to others especially the needy and the less privileged among us) (1Corinthi-ans 13:1-13).

Furthermore, hold on to the prophecies of the Lord through His anointed ones. For in-stance, the Lord had spoken through our fa-ther in the Lord, Dad-dy E. A. Adeboye that the situation of things will be rough in the first half of year 2016, but later things will get better. Prophet Elisha in 2 Kings 7:1 made a prophetic statement which came to pass within 24 hours and the only person that did not part take of it was the lord who expressed unbelief (2 Kings 7:2,17-20). Therefore if you want to prosper in this peri-od of famine in Nige-ria hold on the proph-ecies/pronouncements that comes out through the mouths of genuine men of God because 2 Chronicles 20:20c says that if we believe in the Lord we shall be established and also in His prophets we shall prosper.

Lastly, l advice all Nigerians to exercise a lot of restraint; do not vent your anger on your husband/wife/children because for sure, there is a silver lining in the horizon and very soon, we will all begin to sing the chorus “You are the miracle working God, your name is Yahweh.”

HEALTH BENEFITS OF GUAVA (2)

Cough & cold: Juice of raw and immature guavas or a decoction of

guava-leaves is very help-ful in relieving coughs and colds by reducing mucus, disinfecting the respirato-ry tract, throat and lungs, and inhibiting microbial activity with its astringent properties. Guava has one of the highest quanti-ties of vitamin-C and iron among fruits, and both are proven to be preventive against colds and viral in-fections. In some areas of India, roasted ripe guava is used as a remedy against extreme cases of cough, cold, and congestion. Ripe guava should be avoided by people who are suffer-ing from cough and cold, as it can exacerbate the problem, and one should also avoid drinking water immediately after eating guava as it can lead to a sore throat.

Skin care: Guavas can im-prove the texture of your skin and help you to avoid skin problems more than even the highest ranked beauty creams or skin ton-er gels. This is chiefly due to the abundance of astrin-gents in the fruit (more astringent is present in im-mature guavas) and in its leaves. Your skin can ben-efit from either eating the fruits (this helps tighten your muscles apart from your skin) or by rinsing your skin with a decoction of its immature fruit and leaves. It will tone up and tighten the area of loos-ened skin where you apply it. In addition to the astrin-gents, guava is very rich in vitamin-A, B, C and potassium which are good

antioxidants and detoxifi-ers, which keep your skin glowing and free from signs of premature aging, wrinkles and other dermal disorders.

High blood pressure: Guava helps reduce cho-lesterol in the blood and prevents it from thicken-ing, thereby maintaining the fluidity of blood and reducing blood pressure. Studies have shown that food lacking fiber (such as refined flour) add to blood pressure, due to its quick conversion to sugar. Guava, being very rich in fiber and hypoglycemic in nature, helps reduce blood pressure.

Other benefits: There are so many health benefits of guava; it is hard to know where to begin. It is im-portant to know that guava helps control diabetes and protects the prostate. The juice of guava leaves has been known to cure

toothaches, swollen gums & oral ulcers, and the juice speeds up the healing process of wounds when applied externally. It re-duces the frequency of convulsions, epilepsy, and bacterial infections.

As with many alternative foods and supplements, there is little risk in eat-ing them in natural form, but you must do your due diligence when taking it in medical forms. Be cau-tious when adding any new medicinal form of guava into your diet, and it is bet-ter to stick to eating guava in its natural form as a raw fruit.

The young leaves of the

guava plant are used in traditional medicine in tropical countries. These leaves contain a number of beneficial substances, including antioxidants like vitamin C and flavonoids such as quercetin. Drink-ing a tea made by soaking guava leaves in hot water may be beneficial in treat-ing diarrhea and dysentery, lowering cholesterol, aids in Digestion

Guava leaf tea aids in di-gestion by stimulating di-gestive enzyme production. The powerful antibacterial agents kill bacteria in the lining of the gut and stop proliferation of toxic en-zymes by bacteria. Guava leaves are particularly ben-eficial in case of food poi-soning as well as soothing, vomiting and nausea. To relieve stomach ache, boil 8 pieces of guava leaves in 1.5 liters of water and

drink thrice a day.

Treatment of Bronchitis: Guava leaf tea is effective in treating bronchitis by opening up the lungs, loos-ening mucus and soothing

coughs.

Treatment of Toothaches, Sore Throats and Gum Disease: Due to their an-ti-inflammatory qualities, fresh guava leaves can re-lieve tooth ache, heal gum and mouth sores and treat sore throats when used for

gargling. The antibacterial agent in these leaves pro-tect the teeth and gums and therefore, guava leaves are used as an ingredient in toothpastes and mouth fresheners. Guava leaves can even be made into a natural paste at home for brushing the teeth and gums.

Beneficial in Dengue Fe-ver: Guava leaves are con-sidered a natural remedy for dengue fever. This is because guava leaf extract can increase the number of platelets in the blood and is not toxic at all. For this purpose 9 pieces of guava leaves should be boiled in 5 cups of water until 3 cups of water is left. Af-ter straining and cooling, a cup of this concoction should be given to the pa-tient thrice a day. Prostate Cancer: Guava leaves can be beneficial in

case of prostate cancer and enlargement.

Reduction of Allergies: Guava leaves prevent the release of histamine. Moreover, the compounds found in guava leaves are effective in blocking all al-lergic reactions.

Sperm Production: Con-sumption of guava leaf tea has proven to be effective in increasing sperm pro-duction, thus helping with conception.

Treatment of Wounds and Infections: Guava leaves have great healing properties that can treat wounds such as cuts, im-pact abrasion etc. The antibacterial agents pre-vent infection and reduce inflammation of the uterus to accelerate the healing of wounds. Guava leaf tea can help in curing ear in-fections as well.

Guava Leaves Bene-fits for Skin: When it comes to skincare, guava leaves can greatly help in improving your skin and treatment of various skin disorders. Following are the benefits of guava leaves for skin.

Treatment of Acne and Black spots: Acne and black spots are quite an-noying as they adversely affect the appearance of your skin. Guava leaves are effective in eliminating acne and black spots from the skin. They contain an antiseptic that can kill acne causing bacteria. For this purpose, mash some guava leaves and apply it on the acne and dark spots. Rinse with water after sometime. This should be done daily until the skin is clear.

Removal of Blackheads: For the treatment of black-heads, blend the guava leaves with little water and use it as a scrub on your nose to remove black-heads.Anti-ageing Benefits: Gua-va leaves contain antioxi-dants which destroy the free radicals that damage your skin, thus protecting your skin from ageing as well as improving skin tone and texture. A de-coction of mature guava leaves can be applied on the skin for tightening it.

Relieves Itching: skin itching can lead to serious problem if not treated im-mediately. Guava leaves are an instant cure for get-ting rid of itchiness as they contain allergy blocking compounds.

Guava Leaves Benefits for Hair: Being rich in nutrients and antioxi-dants, guava leaves help in promoting healthy hair growth.Natural Remedy for Hair Loss: To stop hair loss, boil a handful of guava leaves in a liter of water for around 20 minutes. After cooling, apply it on your scalp and massage rigorously.

PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE

It is natural to die of old age or of some other causes. In medi-cal science, when doc-tors know that death

is certain, they advise the family of the patient on what to do to prepare for it. They may tell the family to get a coffin, money to off-set hospital bills, an ambu-lance to convey the corpse or simply get ready for the funeral because they are so sure that in such instances, according to medical laws, death is inevitable.

The sovereign Lord has power over death. The Bible says Jesus holds the key of death and hell in His hand. This sovereign Lord sent a message to a king who had served Him so well to put his house in order because death was certain.

Recommendations and con-clusions of medical doctors may not always be accu-rate but you can be sure of whatever God says. For Hezekiah, to whom the message was sent, there was nothing to doubt about its source and validity.

As soon as he heard the news of his death from a re-spectable, national prophet, Isaiah, he decided to exer-cise his bargaining power with God. What he did is the fundamental privilege of every child of God. If you are sincerely serving the Lord, you can enter into bargain with Him over many issues. Hezekiah did and God hearkened to him.

Isaiah 38:1-6 says “In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isa-iah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. Then Hezeki-ah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, And said, Re-member now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying, Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of Da-vid thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city”.

HE REVERSES

DEATH DECREE

God reversed death decree for Hezekiah. By the re-versal, He made the initial pronouncement of no effect and rather elongated the days of the king with 15 additional years. I prophe-sy that every appointment with death in your destiny this year is cancelled in the mighty name of Jesus.

Hezekiah reminded God about his integrity before the Lord. He reminded Him how he had walked perfect-ly before God in a world of crookedness and sinful-ness. When God heard that, He changed His mind. He must have remembered how He destroyed the first world because of the wick-edness of mankind and to find a few pleasing Him among wayward fellows in a generation where many didn’t want to serve Him was a good reason to retain Hezekiah.

HE CAUSES THE SUN TO REVERSEThe sovereign Lord can reverse the order of the en-tire solar system. Hezekiah wanted to be thoroughly convinced that God was in-deed going to heal him so he asked for a difficult sign. Through Isaiah the prophet, God gave him two options from which to choose as a proof that he was going to be healed.

The first option was for the sun to set at 15 degrees faster than its usual speed and the second option was for the sun to go back by 15 degrees. Hezekiah felt it was cheap to cause the sun to hasten to set, so he chose the second option that the sun should go back by 15 degrees.

For God to suggest the op-tion of altering the speed of the sun in forward or backward motion reveals that He has control over time, season, nature and the whole solar system.

Is. 38:7-8 says “And this shall be a sign unto thee from the Lord that the Lord will do this thing that he hath spoken; Behold, I will bring again the shad-ow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees back-ward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which de-grees it was gone down.”

Ordinarily, there is noth-ing to suggest that anything could influence the speed of the sun but God does His works to reveal His power and dominion over

creation. Giving a difficult option like this is one of the ways to reveal His un-limited power. God could heal Hezekiah without giv-ing him any sign. After all, Naaman was healed of lep-rosy without any sign. He only dipped himself in Riv-er Jordan at the instruction of Elisha and was healed. The ten lepers healed by Je-sus did not receive any sign. As they went on to show themselves to the priest, they noticed that they had been healed.

The sovereign Lord is looking for opportunities to demonstrate His power over creation to establish our faith in Him. He wants to convince us that there is nothing for which He can-not be trusted. Even when it has to do with the sky above, the solar system and our general environment, God has absolute control over all things. When He wanted to confirm whom He chose as high priest among the Israelites, He caused Aaron’s rod to grow fresh leaves without roots. To Him, that is not difficult because He commanded vegetation into existence from nothing.

Num 17:6-9 says “And Moses spake unto the chil-dren of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods. And Moses laid up the rods before the Lord in the tabernacle of wit-ness. And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds. And Mo-ses brought out all the rods from before the Lord unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.”

A rod grew, blossomed and bore almonds without growing a root into the soil. The sovereign Lord per-formed that miracle to indi-cate the man of His choice just as He made the sun to go down to indicate His in-terest to heal Hezekiah. All these show that He has con-trol over living and non-liv-ing things on land, in space or anywhere at all. He can reverse the laws of nature physically and biologically.

When the axe head swam,

He reversed the physical laws of gravity and floata-tion. Ordinarily, iron does not float and swim. When the rod of Aaron budded and blossomed, He re-versed the biological laws of reproduction and growth. The rods were dry rods and

they were not supposed to grow or reproduce but the rod of Aaron grew and re-produced by the touch of God.

The sovereign Lord can re-verse any law in favour of His people. Civil laws had

been reversed before by the touch of God in a land most alien to the knowledge of the Almighty. When Baby-lon saw the touch of God, Nebuchadnezzar made a decree that no other god should be worshipped in any nation apart from the

God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – the God of the Hebrews, the Holy One of Israel.

The sovereign Lord is uni-versal in everything. Idol worshippers classify their gods into; god of thunder, god of fertility, god of wa-ter, god of harvest… each human activity and each element of creation like, wind, water, fire and others is believed to be controlled by some gods.

When there is a fire acci-dent, they sacrifice to the god of fire; when there is volcanic eruption, they try to appease the god of vol-cano; when there is flood, they beg the god of water; when there is thunderstorm, they believe the god of thunder is angry so they try to appease him. The ignorance of humans keeps them in search of vanities because they refuse to ac-knowledge the true and the living God.

The sovereign Lord con-trols everything and there is nowhere He cannot be found. His power is felt on land, in the waters, in the air and in all human affairs. Daniel calls Him the Gov-ernor among the nations because He is the Supreme Ruler in the affairs of men.

HE REVERSES BIOLOG-ICAL ORDERHuman bodies are studied under different academic exercises. In medicine and biological sciences, there is no end to new discoveries in the human anatomy. God demonstrates power over biological order in many cases. Actually, each time there is divine healing; it is a reversal of a biological disorder.

Menopause is the end of menstrual cycle in a wom-an. It marks the end of nat-ural ability to conceive and have children. It occurs in women at slightly different

ages. Generally, women above 45 years of age are classified to have entered menopause but Sarah was 90 years of age when she conceived and had Isaac. At that age, there is no doubt about the presence of menopause in her life. Medically, it is impossible for a woman like that to conceive and have a child but God reversed the bio-logical order of her body to make it possible. Genesis 18:9-14 says “And they said unto him, where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. Now Abra-ham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of

Sometime ago, there lived a man who was a pilot

and his wife was a banker and they were blessed with a child named Sol-omon. They had a house-help who took care of Solomon be-cause they were al-ways busy. His dad-dy would bring him many gifts whenever he travelled and his mother bought him

Solomon, the intelligent boy

anything he asked for but they never spent time with him because of their jobs.

Solomon was always sad because he nev-er saw his parents when he needed them. It was Aunty Sara, the house-help that was there. One day, Solomon was very sick and Aunty Sara took him to the hospital and stayed with him. Af-

Passage is a relatively large space enclosed by a roof and walls. In the Iron Age, a mead space was such a sample building and

later, rooms were partitioned from it and the space next to the front door be-came the entrance space. Today, the entrance of a house is the space next to the front door or lobby leading directly or indirectly to the rooms. Where the space inside the front door of a house is elongated, it may be called a passage. Corridor sprang from Spanish corridor used in EL Escorial.

Passage is one of the most important part of the building because it serves as a playing ground were the family re-lax before going into the main building. The passage also gives beauty space were fresh air can be received.

The passage can be designed anyhow and looked to determine the level you have gone in life and places one has

been. One can arrange it traditional-ly or use the modern design; the two methods will still give you the look you want.

The colour of flooring should rhyme with the colour of the paint of the next door or the walls and what makes up the passage craft work, pictures, cur-tain, and wall clock.

Sometimes suc-cessful par-enting is more of how you

perceive a situation. For example, do you view your kids’ mis-takes as frustrations that interrupt your day? Or are they, as James Joyce called them, “a portal to discovery”?

A colleague told me the story of a moth-er who set the course for her son’s life sim-ply in the way she re-acted to his mistakes. One day, as a little boy, he dropped a jug of milk in the kitchen.

Seeing her son stand-ing in a large puddle of milk, the mother could have yelled, lectured him, or pointed a stern finger in his face. Instead, she smiled and reas-sured him that mis-

THEIR MISTAKES

takes were a part of life. After helping him clean up the mess, she suggested they fill the jug with water, so he could practice how to carry it.

Years later, that little boy became a scientist, who attributed much of his success to his mother’s attitude. He learned from her that mistakes were nothing to be feared because they were opportuni-ties for learning some-thing new.

It’s in the growing-up years that kids learn mostly through experi-ence – that is, through mistakes. That’s why it’s important for par-ents to create a healthy, loving environment where kids feel safe, even in failure. It’s all a matter of perspec-tive for you as a par-ent. Are your child’s mistakes a doorway to your anger? Or do you view them as an oppor-tunity to model God’s love and help your child grow and learn something new?

ter staying for some days at the hospi-tal, he was well and the doc-tor told him to go home.

On his b i r t h -day, his m o t h e r told Aunty Sara to take him out to buy anything

he wanted as a birth-day gift. When his mother came home from the office, Solo-mon asked her if she would give a strang-er her expensive jew-elleries to keep and she said no.

As she was think-ing on why he asked such question, Solo-mon asked her why she always left her with Aunty Sara in-stead of taking care of him herself since he was her expen-sive jewel. His moth-er was shocked and she broke down in tears. She then promised to be a bet-ter mother to him.

Moral: Parents should take care of their children and not leave them to house-helps and other strangers.

women. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, say-ing, after I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? And the Lord said unto Abra-ham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son”.

This example in the Bible is one out of many cases to prove God’s power to reverse biological order in human body. The miracle of Sarah’s conception was triggered by the combina-tion of her faith with that of her husband in the promise of God.

Faith activates the inter-vention of the sovereign Lord. Exercising faith in His promise makes the im-possible to become possi-ble. If doctors have written off your case as hopeless, you can enjoy reversal of

biological order in your body and become fruitful, healthy and strong.

The Lord can do and undo; it is an attribute of His sovereignty. He reversed the biological order in the body of Micah, the daugh-ter of Saul who was mar-ried to David and she be-came childless all her life because she mocked the anointed of the Lord when David threw his whole en-ergy into praising God.

Negative utterances against the anointed of the Lord and blasphemy against God Himself could trigger the exercise of the power of God in a negative sense. God withdrew all the hor-mones necessary for fer-tility and child bearing in the life of this woman be-cause of her utterance. She that was borne fruitful died fruitless. It was a reversal of biological order.

Moses too enjoyed the re-versal of biological order in

his life. The natural order is that human strength and the power of vision decreas-es with age but it was the reverse with Moses. The older he grew, the stronger he became and the sharper his vision. It was a reversal of biological order. At 120 years of age, he was still strong and his eyes were not dim unlike Eli, who at 98 years of age had lost the power of clear vision and physical strength according to 1 Sam. 4:15.

“And Moses was an hun-dred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.” Deut. 34:7The Lord can reverse the biological order of your body to make you look younger than your age. You can wax strong in old age by the touch of the sov-ereign Lord. Scientists say aging is irreversible chang-es in human body leading to death as the ultimate end but God can reverse the process in anybody’s life.

The sovereign Lord changed the body cells and anatomy of a king and He came out with an animal as a final product. He didn’t have to create an animal to replace this king who lifted up himself in pride against Him. He worked on him and made a beast out of him. Man becoming an an-imal is a reversal of biolog-ical order.

Daniel 4:15-17 says “Nev-ertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth: Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be giv-en unto him; and let seven times pass over him. This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the de-mand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men”.

The habitat of this king was changed from human environment to animal environment. Henceforth, he was to start living with herbivores-animals that eat leaves. He got a heart transplant without any physical operation conduct-ed on him. In place of the heart of man, he was given the heart of a beast. He also grew long hair of animals and his physique changed immediately. From stand-ing upright as a human be-ing, he went down on all four as a beast and headed straight to the herd of ani-mals on the grassland.

This is very terrible an experience of biological reversal. Nebuchadnez-zar got into this trouble by his proud utterance while Saul’s childless daughter got hers through her ut-terance of mockery. Your utterances could determine what kind of reversal will take place in your life. Some people confess sick-nesses and diseases until their bodies begin to re-verse to that state whereas others confess healing and health, even in their sick state, until their bodies re-

verses the initial disorder.

The king became an ani-mal by the decree of the sovereign Lord. That is the Word; the force, the power that is capable of changing anything in creation. Force causes a change of state or a position. That is what the word of the Lord does. When it hits any target, a change must take place.

Raising the dead is a re-versal of biological order. The body of Lazarus was already decomposing af-ter four days in the grave. When Jesus got to the scene, He demonstrated His pow-er over creation by speak-ing life back into the corpse and Lazarus came back to life. The law of death and decay was reversed by His word because there is no law in existence outside what He made. The Lord can make a stream flow back to its fountain, against the natural flow of river. He can make the sun to rise from the East and set in the East if He so wishes. Just a word from Him is enough to achieve whatever He wants.

WhatsApp, the social messaging service ac-quired by Facebook for $19bn in 2014, is arguably the world’s fastest-growing com-munication app. As at January 2015, half a

billion people around the world were regular and active WhatsApp users. These users are sharing more than 700 million photos and 100 million videos every single day.

WhatsApp is more popular than Facebook in Indian and even maids make use of it. It has already replaced SMS and fast becoming the primary mode of communication. The question small business owners are now asking is

“How can I use WhatsApp for business?”

Let’s look at the 5 creative ways to implement WhatsApp in your business.

1. Use WhatsApp For Internal Team Commu-nicationEven though Whatsapp is not new, there is still resis-tance from people to using it. People are reluctant to ‘learn’ new things. The best thing about WhatsApp is that almost everyone uses it and it does not require any training.

Sales & Development team group can be formed on Whatsapp and share instant messages for which an email is not necessary. It’s fast and fun to use. With WhatsApp Web, it becomes even easier to type messages using a web browser.

2. Use WhatsApp For Customer Communica-tionHere is a sales tip – If you do your follow-ups on WhatsApp instead of direct phone calls, you will get 40% more response. No one appreciates phone calls from unknown numbers but are more likely to respond to personal messages. WhatsApp for customer commu-nication gives better response and engagement.

This also gives an opportunity to be little informal. For example, if you sent a quotation to your potential cus-tomer but haven’t heard from him, what do you do? You either call him or send a follow-up mail using for-mal language. Instead of doing this, if you just send a short message on WhatsApp asking about the status, you might get a quick response.More and more small and big businesses are using WhatsApp to announce new offers or send festive wish-es to their customers. 3. Use WhatsApp For Customer SupportWhatsApp could be a great tool for customer sup-port simple because of its wider reach. Your custom-ers would always prefer to send you a message over WhatsApp rather than calling a helpdesk number.

5 CREATIVE WAYS TO USE WHATSAPP FOR YOUR BUSINESSMTN Nigeria has recently launched Nigeria’s first ever WhatsApp based customer care service in the telecom-munications industry. This means MTN customers can interact with the company’s customer care unit using instant messaging application.

However, offering customer support via WhatsApp may not be a good option for all types of businesses. Kritika from cloud telephony company warns that re-sponding to every message on WhatsApp may not be practical for companies that get hundreds of customer calls every day.So, it is advisable to choose WhatsApp as a customer support tool only if you have lesser number of customer requests.

4. Use WhatsApp For Marketing & Promo-tion.Rajat Uppal, national marketing head of Red FM, says, “WhatsApp is the new SMS. We’ve realised that WhatsApp can be a very strong marketing tool. It is a good one-to-one platform for direct communication with our listeners”. You can use WhatsApp to send images, audio files, short video clips of your products and text mes-sages to users across the world. Unlike SMS or Email, there is less restriction on the format and delivery chances are higher.

This doesn’t mean that you should spam your custom-ers with WhatsApp messages. Ideally you should use WhatsApp to connect with existing loyal customers rather than trying to reach new users. Everyone hates messages coming from unknown numbers. If you really want to get a good response, you will need to come up with the creative ways to promote your business using WhatsApp.

5. Creative Usage Of WhatsApp For BusinessPeople have built new businesses using WhatsApp as a platform and some are using it to grow their businesses in a cost effective manner. Some of the creative usage of WhatsApp that might give you few ideas for the next project are:

Concierge ServiceMumbai-based errand-running service Russsh, uses WhatsApp as a booking platform. Customers can book cake, have flower delivered or use courier service with the help of WhatsApp. Food Ordering Using WhatsAppLot of local restaurants in some countries now offer their users an option to order food using a WhatsApp message. Customers can communicate their preferenc-es instantly.

Medical ConsultationFamily doctors have now started offering consultation on WhatsApp. Of course, it can’t replace an in-person visit but you can always text your doctor and ask about common medical queries. Apart from this, medical stores now accept photos of prescription and deliver the medicines. Government ServicesThe Delhi Police last year launched a dedicated helpline powered by WhatsApp: 9910641064. On the launch day, they received more than 23,000 messages and complaints via on this number. The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) is providing Volvo bus helpline service through WhatsApp. The service is available for complaints and suggestions from Volvo bus passengers and information related to the buses.

However, WhatsApp can be used to affordably com-municate in four different ways:

1. One-to-one chat: You message back and forth with one person;2. Group chat: You invite two or more people to chat (up to one-hundred participants) with you and each other;3. Broadcast: You send a message to two or more people but they cannot reply; and4. WhatsApp Calling: You can call a contact using your data plan instead of your minutes.

In conclusion, WhatsApp is a powerful communication tool. It has become widely popular due to its simplicity. Apart from using it for personal communication, you can use WhatsApp for your business in various ways. It’s cost effective and you can get started quickly.

May 9th to 14th, 2016, will re-main indelible in the minds of

the three children who got scholarship awards, and over one thousand partici-pants who benefitted from the free trade and skills acquisition programme or-ganised by, Helping Hands International, at the Re-demption Camp.

Two year-old Dorcas An-uoluwapo Robinson got a scholarship which covers her education from primary school till tertiary school af-ter she courteously greeted the Helping hands team that came to the RCCG, Nation-al Kitchen to check the class.

According to her mother, Mrs. Oluwaseun Robinson,

Young and energetic Tosin Bee is doing exploits in the mu-sic ministry. He met

with our correspondents Bukunola Adeyemi and Emmanuel Akerele as he shares the story of his jour-ney in the ministry. He had these to say:

Que: Can we meet you sir?

Ans: My name is Adejumo-bi Oluwatosin Akinkunmi a.k.a Tosin Bee. I am the first child from a family of six. I have B.A in English Language and Arts, from Olabisi Onabanjo Universi-ty, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun state. I am a gospel artiste and I do all genres of music but majorly afro-fusion.

Que: How did you start your music career?

Ans: I started in 2003 but prior to that time, while I was in Kwara State Poly-technic, Ilorin, where I was running Interim Joint Ma-triculation Board (IJMB) programme, I had these friends with whom I went around singing and op-pressing people. On one

I Got On Massive Platforms By Grace And

Diligence –Tosin Beeof such days, a particular lady walked up to me and said she wanted to see me. She said “Instead of going around wasting this talent God has given you, why not join the choir” I knew it must have been the Holy Spirit that sent her to me because lots of people had said the same thing before but I ignored them.

The next day, I went to my church; the Holy Ghost Harvest Church and I told the Choir Coordinator I wanted to join them. Up till today, I have never set my eyes on that lady and I don’t even know her name which makes it difficult for me to look for her.

Aside the choir, I had a three-man group called

“The Roots.” The three of us would go about ministering in campuses and churches. After I secured admission into the University, I con-tinued travelling to Ilorin to minister with them but it got to a time that I couldn’t cope with the stress. I made new friends and joined the Redeemed Christian Fel-lowship. Gradually, I start-ed singing in my fellowship

and I soon became the Mu-sic Director. God connect-ed me with two or more people and because I was always coming to Lagos to minister once in a while, I started getting invitations even while I was in school.

It wasn’t easy when I fi-nally relocated to Lagos because, I was sleeping on the altar in the church and getting invitations though sometimes what we got in return was “God Bless you.” Some of the people I started with couldn’t con-tinue but I forged ahead and to the glory of God here I am today.

Que: How did you cope with money issue at the time?

Ans: I always tell people that before you decide to go into full time ministry, you need to be sure that it is God who is calling you because there will be chal-lenges and a lot of discour-agement. If it was God that called you, He will surely make it easy for you even when people are lamenting. People have asked me to share some of the challeng-

es I faced but I don’t see them as challenges. I sim-ply see them as a process to where I am going. God always come through for me anytime I have financial challenges.

Que: Are there any chal-lenges with ladies?

Ans: I have had my short-comings and I made some mistakes in the past, but when you know where you are going and God reveals things to you, you will learn how to be very care-ful in your daily life espe-cially with ladies. More than ever, the truth is, I see everybody as human, so the way I will relate with a man is the same way I will relate with ladies too. More women are attracted to you when you are in this field. It is then left to you to de-cide if it is a distraction or not. If you are able to dis-tinguish which one of them is on your way to help, you can do away with the ones who come to distract.

Que: Are you planning to get married soon?

Ans: It is advisable to and also not advisable to rush into marriage. You need to take your time and be sure you are making the right choice. For me, I try to learn from things that I have seen around. I have seen people who jumped into relationships and are regretting it. As much as there is pressure, it is still my life.

Que: Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years?

Ans: By God’s grace, I see myself as a major force to be reckoned with when it comes to gospel ministry. I don’t want to be seen as one of those boys that came and went without making any impact. I still want the fire that is burning in me now to even burn better by God’s grace. I also want to go round the world making impact by winning souls for Christ.

Que: When was your first album released?

Ans: I launched an album titled “Testimony” on the

3rd of April and we had a fantastic time. Que: What’s the inspira-tion behind the album?

Ans: It’s just a summa-ry of everything God has done for me because I went through a lot of things in life. I had issues, challeng-es, messed up but against all these, God decided to show me mercy and be kind to me.

Que: Which of your songs really captivated your au-dience?

Ans: Funny enough, I am a young man that enjoyed God’s grace in the sense that, there was no particu-lar album that made people to start inviting me for pro-grammes. It was just grace. All I was doing was just praise and worship songs. The platform that really got me out was Lagos shift. I was on the stage with one Femi Micah taking praise/worship. Being the first one, we taught it was going to be short. After a while, Femi Micah left and hand-ed the microphone to me thinking that I would just do three to four minutes ministration just to keep people engaged for some time. I ended up singing for about three hours. I didn’t believe I could actually do that, since then, people have been like “Guy you are wow.”

Que: How has the journey been?

Ans: I had times that there was nobody, no money but before I would start lament-ing and regretting, God would just send someone to help me out of the situation. I must be sincere, it has been challenging. There are times that there won’t be programmes, meaning that I would be with noth-ing. During that period, I keep working on myself by praying, so by the time I come out I would be re-filled.

Que: Do you have a word of advice for people that are looking up to you?

Ans: I will just say that whatever you are doing try as much as possible to be diligent in it. I have been privileged to get on some massive platforms, just by sheer diligence and by the grace of God. You can’t just rest on grace because faith without work is dead. When you have faith, what He does is bless the works of your hands but if there is nothing you have to present to God, there is nothing He has to bless. When every-thing is not looking beauti-ful and good, keep working hard and don’t leave the place of prayer. It is always a problem for so many of us to pray but it is the ma-jor thing.

Bukunola Adeyemia widow and mother of four, she came to the Camp for the May Holy Ghost Service and decided to stay for a week to pray. “I got to know about them when I went to RCCG, Gate of Heaven Par-ish on the Sunday preceding the programme where it was announced that Helping Hands International would have an empowerment pro-gramme. I went to the venue the next day and I was told that I would need a Gate Pass to participate. As God would have it, someone gave me a Gate Pass and that was how I participated and I got to know about helping hands.” she narrated.

Explaining how her daugh-ter got the scholarship, she said, “On the day, An-uoluwapo was awarded the

scholarship, I took her to a Day-Care around because we were already warned not to bring our children to stay in the National Kitchen but she refused to stay with her teachers which was unusual. I decided to take her along with me to drop her where other parents dropped their children in a room in the premises and I left for the kitchen. Not long after, I heard some people shouting

“Whose child is this?”

“When I got outside, I was told she had been chosen to receive a scholarship, be-cause, when the executives came to see the children, my daughter stood up and greeted them warmly and they were impressed. So, she was quickly noticed. They then decided to award

her a scholarship until she completes her education in the higher institution.” She said.

While giving thanks to God, Mrs. Robinson said, “All I can say is that it is the mercy of God that made it possible. I thank God for what He has done in my life because He ordered my steps to be in Redemption Camp at a time like this.”

Helping Hands Interna-tional (H2i) is an empow-erment-based-membership programme with a global opportunity. With its head-quarters in the Philippines, it was born out of passion for total human capacity de-velopment and for helping the less privileged.

champion, Gloria Asumnu, during the

week joined the country’s overseas-based athletes who have qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Asumnu ran a sea-son’s best of 11.24secs to meet the qualifying standard of the women’s 100m at the Altis In-vitational in Phoenix Arizona. She has therefore joined Bless-ing Okagbare and Peace Uko in sealing a spot in the event at the Games. Asumnu finished second behind Jamaica’s Schillione Calvert, who won the race in 11.19secs, while Shai-Anne Davis placed third in 11.48secs. The former Af-rican 200m champion had ear-lier clocked 11.35secs in the heats, which was just 0.01sec shy of her former SB set in Texas earlier in the month. Also Nigeria’s Toyin Augustus competed in the 100m hurdles of the event, where she finished third overall in the heats in a time of 13.25secs. She lowered her time to 13.14secs in the final where she also placed third behind Morgan Snow (12.92secs) and Evonne Brit-ton (13.02secs).Augustus is also seeking to return to action for Nigeria at the Olympics after being out of the team for a while. The standard for the 100m hurdles is 13.47secs. Another Nigerian Also in action at the Shoenhair Track and Field Stadium was Abiola Onakoya who placed 6th in the men’s 400m in 47.40secs. Meanwhile, Pa-tience George also added to Nigeria’s list of qualifiers for Rio when she met the standard of 52.00secs at last week’s Sapele Golden League of the Athletic Federation of Nigeria. She ran the exact time of 52.00secs to set a new season’s best to qualify for the women’s 400m. George also during the week finished sec-ond at the fourth IAAF World Challenge in Dakar, Senegal. She ran 52.20secs to finish behind Bostwana’s Lydia Jele, who ran 52.18secs. The Nige-rian champion finished ahead of Jamaica’s Patricia Hall who was third in 52.75secs. George, who last year ran two PBs of 50.76secs and 50.71secs respectively, will be hoping to get close to that mark this year. She would be wary of the threats of Mar-garet Bamgbose, who has run 51.11secs this season, and the returning Folashade Abugan.

Barcelona recently clinched La Liga and Copa del Rey dou-ble for the second successive season on what turned out to be yet another landmark night for Lionel Messi.

The Argentina international was in inspired form against Sevilla at the Vicente Calderon, setting up goals for Jordi Alba and Neymar in extra time as Barca ended their domestic campaign with a record 28th King’s Cup triumph. Those assists – his 25th and 26th of the season – helped settle an ill-tempered encounter in the Spanish capital which saw Javier Mascherano, Ever Banega and Daniel Carrico sent off. The result provided the final gloss on Barca’s recovery following a mid-season meltdown which saw them dumped out of the Champions League and surrender their nine-point lead at the top of the Primera Division. It turned out to be an extra sweet night for Messi who capped another record-breaking season by claiming his fourth Copa del Rey winners’ medal – the 30th honour in his tro-phy-laden career. It is a campaign that will no doubt live long in the memory for Messi who, having won an unprecedented fifth Bal-lon d’Or in January, cemented his place in La Liga history when he broke the 300-goal mark with a double against Sporting Gijon in February. Later that month, he scored Barcelona’s 10,000th goal in official competitions with his side’s second in their Champions League last-16 victory over Arsenal. Hopes of replicating Barca’s treble-winning 2014/15 campaign, however, were dashed by defeat in the Champions League quarter-finals by Atletico Madrid.

Recently, Rafael Nadal became the eighth man in history to win 200 matches at Grand Slam tournaments with his sec-ond-round victory over Facundo Bagnis

in the French Open. Nadal fell behind 2-0 against the 99th-ranked Bagnis of Argentina, then cleaned up his act and took 14 of the next 15 games en route to winning 6-3, 6-0, 6-3. A record nine-time champion at Roland Garros, Nadal has won 200 of 230 matches in majors, a winning percentage of .870. Only sev-en other men have earned that many victories at Grand Slam tournaments; Roger Federer, who is missing from this year’s French Open because of injury, holds the record of 302. “The only thing I know is that I have reached the third round,” Nadal said. “That’s the only thing that matters for me.” The fourth-seeded Nadal has 14 Grand Slam titles -- tied with Pete Sampras for second most behind Federer’s 17 -- including a record nine at Roland Garros.

Real Madrid has remained the most valuable football team in the world for a fourth year in a row, according to US business magazine Forbes. $694 million (£480m), a slender advantage over Barcelona in both categories. Barcelona are shown to have a value of $3.549bn (£2.46bn), with United said to be worth $3.317bn (£2.3bn). Six Premier League teams feature in the top 10, with United joined by Arsenal, Manches-ter City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham. Forbes said the top 20 teams are collectively worth 24 percent more than the teams that filled those positions 12 months ago, citing increased income from television contracts and kit deals. The study said Real Madrid ranked as the world’s second richest sports team, behind only the Dallas Cowboys American football team, which it valued at $4bn (£2.77bn).

In 2013, the two lumps on my two breasts that had disap-peared in 2011 came back. The lumps were there from 2013-

2015. I came to the Redemption Camp to pray over them in June 2015 and to the glory of God, by the time I got home the lumps were

divinely removed. Hallelujah. Sis. Esther Ogar

I was diagnosed of hepatitis B by sever-al laboratory scientists. Along the line, the symptoms began to show on me. In January, I heard that Pastor E. A.

Adeboye would be coming to University of Ibadan for a Campus Holy Ghost service and I made up my mind to be there.

During the ministration, he said “the strangers that invaded your body have been dealt with.” I had a turnaround, since then. I went for further tests and I was de-clared free.Bro. Babatunde Adebayo
