Dear Team Member,
Welcome to HomeSmart! You have just been
chosen to be a part of one of the most progressive
and exciting companies in the real estate industry and
we’re excited to have you!
When I announced HomeSmart on January 14, 2000 to the
Phoenix Metropolitan area with only two agents, I never would
have dreamed it would turn into what it is today. Real estate is one
of the economic drivers in every community. We help people make
one of the biggest decisions in their life; where to call Home.
Our goal at HomeSmart is to help make real estate easy.
The entire staff at HomeSmart is committed to providing outstanding
customer service to our agents and their clients. If at any time you need
assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our support staff is
here to answer your questions and address any concerns that you may
have and, of course, our brokers always have your back.
Again, I would like to personally thank you for choosing HomeSmart

RealSmart AgentRealSmart Agent is your tool for business development and resource for information as a HomeSmart agent. You can access RealSmart Agent at MyHSRealty.com. Your username is your MLS ID, unless you are asked for your primary email address. The first time you login, your password will be changeme (all lowercase, one word). You will be automatically prompted to reset it. You can change it under the My Account button.
The Dashboard tab is your homepage. It
contains transaction file status, productivity
and company news as well as links to web-
sites you might use on a regular basis.

The Contacts tab is where you can create and maintain your
own contact database. Contacts are automatically saved
once created under Transactions as well. You can also
upload documents and save them under each contact.

Select the Transactions menu on the left,
and go to the appropriate transaction type.

Here you can access the links to our Marketing
Design Center (where you can customize and
order business cards, flyers, postcards, yard
signs and more) or the product catalog, create
free marketing, and log in to your free personal
marketing website. You may also access the
product catalog at HomeSmartCatalog.com.

Education
The Education tab enables you to find live
training links, training videos and a link to
our Education Calendar where you can
register to reserve your seat in any of our
many Continuing Education courses.
Classes are free to all agents, unless
otherwise noted. You can also access
the Education Calendar anytime at:
LearnHSRealty.com.

The Office tab has archives for company and industry news.
This is also where the agents can obtain branch information,
reserve conference rooms, or inquire about office
space leasing opportunities.

Make goals and track against actual transaction activity.
Goals can be set for number of transactions, listing/sale
volume ($), or for gross commission.
Track
The Calendar tab contains your own
personal, fillable calendar for the convenience
of organizing your day-to-day activities!
The calendar also has an automated
transaction function showing expiration/
closing dates for all of your transactions.
All calendar entries are also shown on the
Dashboard Calendar for easy reference.

The Downloads tab contains all of our
HomeSmart specific forms. You can
search per category or you can enter
a keyword search on the top right hand
side and select “Downloads” from the
drop-down menu.
FAQ is populated by our Brokers. It posts
frequently asked questions and answers.
It’s updated with new Q&As regularly,
so check in often for new information.

In My Account, you can manage your
contact information. Any time you have a
change of information, you will make those
changes here to notify HomeSmart. You will
also complete your profile to help clients
find you on the public website, upload your
photo, manage your notifications, and
schedule your covering agent during
vacation time.

SmartTools
Create custom website tours for individual homes in
minutes. The tour appears on a custom, branded
website created with information pulled directly from
the Multiple Listing Service.

TIP: Access your SmartTools under the Marketing tab in RealSmart Agent.

SmartSearch is a powerful search engine that provides
automated and custom searches, local information,
satellite photos, street level views, and the ability to
create routes to view the properties.

SmartGallery provides each HomeSmart listing with
a personalized, custom website. Each site contains
property details, a photo gallery, and a contact page
to reach the agent.

Product CatalogGo to HomeSmartCatalog.com to create your Product Catalog account. Log in with the username and password you created.
To Loginto MyHSRealty.com, enter your username and password.
What is My Portal Code?Your portal code is california.

MyHSRealty.com Google Chrome is our preferred browser. Safari is also a great browser to use. Although not recommended, other common browsers that can be used are Firefox Mozilla and Internet Explorer.
Marketing Design CenterAccess our new Marketing Design Center through the Marketing tab on RealSmart Agent. Customize and order business cards, postcards, flyers, yard signs and more! TIP: Save 15% on your first order with code: HS15FIRST.
HomeSmart CalendarAccess the calendar by selecting the Education icon in RealSmart Agent, or at LearnHSRealty.com. Go to the Class Schedule. Double click on the class you want and select Reserve Spot. Need to cancel a reservation? Click My Reservations on the right to make changes. Click Completed Classes to view classes that you have taken.

Paperwork ProcessAll paperwork must be received within five days of contract acceptance. This includes new listings, sales, and leases.
Need Help Creating a Listing?Select the Education icon, then click on Education Videos and Create a Listing.
1: Log onto the RealSmart Agent Panel at MyHSRealty.com.
• Your username is your MLS ID.
• Your initial password is changeme.
• Type in your primary email address
• Select the Transactions type on the lefthand menu
• Click the + New button at the top right
Hint: To view training videos, select the Education icon then choose Education Videos.
2: Enter Your Transaction.
Once created, you have two different options to submit your paperwork. Browse and upload directly into the transaction.
Hint: If you don’t have your own method of uploading paperwork, like a scanner at home, keep in mind that our office has the scan-to-email feature from the copier.
To Email or Fax Your PaperworkClick Yes to print or save a barcode cover sheet. When faxing, place the printed bar-code cover sheet on top of the paperwork, and fax it to 562.252.0238. When emailing paperwork, the saved barcode cover sheet must be the first page, all pages must be

included in one attachment, and emailed to: [email protected].
Hint: To merge multiple documents into one, use MergePDF.net.

3: Check Status.
Once submitted, your paperwork takes 48-72 hours to be processed and reviewed by the Broker. To check the status of your paperwork, log back into your SmartPanel within that time frame.
Go to Transactions tab and search for the type of transaction to see status. Double click on the address for detailed information.
4: Submit Any Additional or Missing Paperwork – Follow the Same Options as Step 2.
Upload directly into Transaction, or print or save a barcode cover sheet to email.
TIP: Be sure to check the Current Processing Timeframes section on the right-hand side of the Dashboard screen.
