• Has Plants in 11 cities in US but The Pittsburgh Plant has Been a Trouble Spot.

• Recently, the company has been trying to Hire a new Plant Manager for the Pittsburgh Plant.

Job Specification for a Plant Manager

Education RequirementsThere are no strict education requirements for becoming a plant manager, but many positions require a 4-year degree in business or industrial management. Such degrees include a curriculum focused on managerial accounting, business finance, business strategy, quality and supply chain management, cost accounting and human resources. Some employers, especially at larger plants with more complex production processes, prefer candidates with a graduate degree in a business or technical field.
