How to Create A Lead Magnet Quickly


And now it’s time to create this thing.

You’ve done the research…You’ve chosen the format…


Especially if this is the first lead magnet you’re making.

Your lead magnet should take no more than 2 days to create


If you choose a simple checklist format or create something like a gear list.

Sometimes, these super-simple formats convert better than huge research reports, so don’t discount them just because they’re easier to create.

It can take as little as 90 minutes to make


You might want to use the saying “Aim for perfection, settle for excellence”, especially if you find yourself worrying over details.

Don’t get too concerned with making your lead magnet perfect


Just get the draft done. Then take a break, and then come back to it and just make the whole thing one level better.

Just focus on creating a draft to start


Make your lead magnet better and better and better with each work session you do.

Keep working in 45 to 90 minute blocks (or use the Pomodoro technique)


Expect to come back to your magnet and re-do it again in a few weeks after you’ve gotten some feedback on it.

Just remember, even when you publish this, it’s really only a draft.


Brew up some coffee or put on some work music. Do whatever it is that you do.

Try to focus solely on this lead magnet,

at least until you’ve got a solid draft

finished.
