represent particular social groups?

• The age represented for “Elly B” is 18

• In the article I have wrote about how she has had a hard life but managed to get to the top therefore I think she is seen in a good light because she is shown to be a victim but rise above her problems. Because I have chose quite mature issues to write about in the article it will be more interesting for older teens and adults rather than young people.

• Also her father who would be about 40 I have wrote about how he has been a good father to her even though he raised her on his own so I think he is also seen in a good light. However, I wrote I the article that she slated Justin Beiber so people could get the perception that she is quite upfront and blunt about people. She is shown to be very talented because I have wrote that she can play many musical instruments.

• There is also the new Zealand boy band which is shown on the contents page, I haven’t really wrote about them however they look around the ages 16-18 and since they are in the magazine it shows them to be successful.
