Alternate Representation(People into Punk)

• Many representations of these type of people usually come from stereotypes or from influences such as TV or other magazines. It can also come from certain music videos promoting Punk people as drunks and rebellious.

• I have given my magazine the watered down version or the current stereotype and merged It with the alternate stereotype to reflect punk people to be more modern and current with today's modern choice of music. This is shown by the special issue of which my magazine has decided to release.

•Helpful •Generous•Goes to church•Happy

•Tattoo or pierce free•Playful•Listen to mainstream

I based my magazine on the popular NME magazine which helps to promote new music in the freshest way. It’s use of font and

pictures help to create the aspect of music genre’s to be less set in concrete but instead shown to be more relaxed.

This I have incorporated into my magazine and as a result help to show a more unidentified area of stereotyped music.
