“It has involved a number of trips to the archives and quite a few - enjoyable - team meetings as we developed our ideas. A couple of the St Albans group grew confident enough to actually write something, as opposed to just sending me their notes, which was great. So much so, of course, that Jon Mein (one of the members) was encouraged to apply for the MA by Research”.
