BACKGROUND National hotel chains such as Hilton Garden Inn are known for their distinct style and updated interior designs. To keep their hotels current and visually appealing, Beam Team performed the new installation of lighting, fixtures, and paint as well as wallcovering upgrades, while also allowing the space to be usable to guests. This project involved upgrading electrical components, lighting, paint, and flooring to renovate the interior lobby of two different Hilton Garden Inn. THE OPPORTUNITY The areas under renovation had to be demolished, and a new layout for the market and breakfast serving areas had to be built. This would allow Hilton’s old design to have a more open feel with lighter colors as well as an updated contemporary design. During the project, major change orders had to be considered in the project schedule. The interior remodeling project had to be done efficiently to allow ease of access for guests and hotel employees to work with their schedules. THE SOLUTION To accommodate special requests from the General Manager as well as to adjust for new work requests, Beam Team provided highly-skilled teams to get the project completed in 7 weeks. Crews worked 6-12 hours a day, 7 days a week, often having to navigate repairs despite the areas being in use. The Beam Team specializes in working around operational areas during interior remodeling projects as well as maintaining the guest experience to stay as normal as possible. The bulk of heavy construction work was planned during the day, to avoid creating a nuisance for the guest having breakfast or dinner. With a proven track record in meeting clients’ needs, the Beam Team has the manpower on-site to work around the unexpected issues that remodeling projects present.
