Time And Place: The 27th North American Heifer Calf Futuri-ty Show & Sale is held in conjunction with the North AmericanInternational Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky. TheFuturity Show will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November11th, in the Broadbent Arena and the Futurity Sale will be heldat 4:30 p.m. in the New Market Hall Auction Arena on theKentucky Fair and Exposition Center grounds.

The Judging: As in the prior futurities, the judging will be ac-complished by using 10 judges selected by the Futurity Com-mittee. Each judge will be given birthdate, weight and framescore information. Each judge will independently cast a balloton placings for the entire class. Final placings will then be deter-mined by scoring all judges’ cards collectively.

Terms Of Sale: Check or cash is payable to the clerk immedi-ately following the sale and before cattle are removed from thepremises.

Announcements from the auction block will take precedenceover printed material in this catalog.

Health: All heifers have been tested and found to be TH Free orhave a TH Free pedigreee. Each heifer sells with a state ap-proved health certificate from its state of origin. Buyers shouldmake themselves aware of the health requirements of their re-spective states.

ASA Genetic Defect Disclaimer: Unless an animal is listed onthe American Shorthorn Association “genetic defect status list”,the American Shorthorn Association makes no representation ofany kind as to whether or not the animal has a genetic defect.
