Interactive program in the pumpkin house where your little farmers simulate growing a pumpkin

a covered wagon with sides for safety, a protected corn maze, & puppet theater
Dress for the weather
Cost: $5.50 per person with a 25 per group minimum or $137.50 Note: Small groups may combine with other groups to make the minimum and we can help with that.
Pre-School-Kindergarten
When your students arrive at Graf
Growers, they’re given their new
identity: Farmer Graf. After inspect-
ing the fields on the hayride, we
gather everyone around the pumpkin
patch theater for an educational and
engaging puppet show. Farmer Scott
takes your little farmers through the
life cycle of pumpkins and illustrates
how they grow from a small seed to
a pumpkin or pumpkin pie. The
children are encouraged to
participate as they learn how a
pumpkin grows before their eyes.
This program is available for all
ages!

After the hayride, where your
students learn about the soil we
farm with as well as the different
animals and challenges we
encounter as farmers, students
are put into small groups. The
hands-on small group exercises,
led by Farmer Scott, lead the
students to observe, measure &
record various pumpkin
investigations. Students learn
how pumpkins grow & their basic
needs to survive. In addition, vari-
ous uses for pumpkins are dis-
cussed. The program correlates
with state standards in life
science & math.
