Technology: Advantages

PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) and PACVD (Plasma

Assisted Chemical Vapour Deposition) coatings have many

advantages to improve the quality of products. Scratch-

resistance of decorative parts is such an advantage, as well

as increased lifetime and higher productivity of tools. Com-

ponents in car engines profi t from the reduced coeffi cient of

friction and reduced wear when coated.

Equipment: Flexibility First

Hauzer Techno Coating supplies its customers with hard

coating technology since 1983. We develop coatings and

build machines for industrial production. A range of equip-

ment (batch and inline) makes the choice for our customers

easy. Dependent on the size of the product to be coated

and the production volume, the optimum size of the coating

chamber can be decided upon. Cost-effectiveness per piece

and fast turnaround are important factors for this decision.

Whatever the choice, Hauzer provides the right equipment

for every application.

The Flexicoat® series provide our customers with fl exibility

in technology. In line with developments in their markets,

upgrades of existing machines with other deposition tech-

nologies are always possible. For starters in PVD we supply

a turn key solution: the coating machine accompanied by

the necessary auxiliary equipment.

Outside our usual tool, tribological and decorative markets,

we develop equipment for special purposes, such as dedi-

cated machines or development of coatings for specifi c

unique applications.

Support: Real Partnership

In-house coaters and job coaters both rely on Hauzer’s

expertise. The Competence Centres in The Netherlands,

Japan and China provide knowledge of coating technology

and production methods in an industrial environment. We

offer the local support necessary to be a real partner to our

customers. The local customer support departments ensure

a close contact with the customers. Upgrades of equipment,

consumables such as targets, spare parts and maintenance

contracts complete the partnership.

Hauzer offers combinations of deposition technologies in one

machine. Options are:

confi guration (UBM)

• Advanced controlled cathodic arc deposition (ACA)

• Circular arc deposition (CARC)

• Plasma assisted chemical vapour deposition (PACVD)

• RF sputter deposition

• High power impulse magnetron sputtering (HIPIMS, HIPIMS+)

Yokohama Hauzer has its own branch companies to give
