ApplicationA new 2NK series of the centerline-mounted single-stage overhung pumps is designed for operation at refineries, various processes in chemical and petrochemical industry as well as the other industries to handle chemicals products, crude oil, petroleum products, liquefied gases and other similar liquids (by specific gravity, viscosity, corrosion effect on materials, etc.).

2NK pumps comply with API 610 (11-th ed.) standard, qualified by the modern requirements to efficiency and reliability, and completely respond to currently applied pumps by overall and fitting dimensions.

The 2NK pumps series are manufactured by the Bobruisk Machine-Building Plant (HMS Group division) located in Bobruisk, Belarus. The plant is specializing in the process pumps manufacturing for oil & gas and other industrial applications.

1. Design of the suction and discharge nozzles corresponds to DIN / ANSI / ISO of 64 bar rated pressure.

2. Heavy duty casing rated for up to 60 bar pressure.

3. For easy maintenance the rotor can be removed without full disassembling of the pump.

4. The wearing rings are made of the hard alloy to keep high performance of the pump through its long service life (Fig. 1).

5. The mechanical seal chamber complies with API 682.

6. Commonality of the pump’s main parts decreases the cost of maintenance.

7. A new energy-efficient rotor bundle provides:

High efficiency with rated and optional rotor

Retention of the rated performance with slightly trimmed impellers

Increased efficiency with deeply trimmed rated and optional impellers

Decreased radial load and shaft runout resulting in increased service life of bearings and mechanical seals

8. The high-efficient cooling system of the pump’s casing and bracket keeps the preset temperature of the bracket stable despite the high temperature pumped liquid.

9. The rigid shaft of increased diameters with minimal deflection and runout increases the bearings and mechanical seal service life.

10. The bearings lubrication system ensures their long service life (Fig. 2).

The pump’s special mount on the baseplate ensures the casing shift at temperature variation.

A rigid welded base frame to avoid misalignment of the pump and motor shafts.

Reliable and durable elastic diaphragm coupling reduces vibrations and requires no maintenance.

The pump vibration does not exceed 3 mm/sec. in accordance with API 610 requirements.

Flow part design provides axial load compensation to ensure max service life of the bearings.

The pump and its baseplate configuration provide smooth operation in seismicity areas of up to 9 by МSК-64 scale.
