"We are not ready to accept any new demand. Whatever expectations are there, would be possibly fulfilled only after formation of a government," BJP general secretary Ram Madhav told reporters here. "It's not possible to form the government on conditions," he added. He spoke a day after PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti met Bharatiya Janata Party presi- dent Amit Shah in Delhi. Madhav also said that the stalemate in government-for- mation in Jammu and Kashmir was not because of the BJP but due to the PDP. "The prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir is not because of us. After Mufti Saheb's death, PDP had to choose a leader for the chief minister's post," he said. Replying to questions on Meh- booba-Shah meeting, Madhav said, “There is no change in our stand. We have told them that a new government should be formed on the basis on condi- tions that existed earlier." PDP with 28 MLAs and BJP with 25 members had formed an alliance on March one last year with Sayeed as the Chief Minister. New Delhi, Mar 18: The BJP on Friday said that any expec-tations from the PDP could be met only after the new govern-ment takes over in Jammu and Kashmir.
