W I N T E R

hello

Winter, cozy winter.

Lethargy is my word. I feel like a funny squirrel in her trunk home. Cooking & Banqueting.

Watching long seasons of intriguing tv shows. Welcoming friends for a Risk or Poker night.

Cozying up in heavy wool plaids and soft turtlenecks. Running out just for supplies (and a

few, worthy, art exhibitions and music nights).

And decorating: Christmas is 1-1,5 (maybe 2?) months long in my house. Carols, diy

projects and crafty afternoons are all I’m asking for. I’ll have a Blue (gourmet) Christmas.

Because, this year, Blue sounds like cozy, relaxing, chic. Blue tartan: to dream of some

Downton Abbey-ish kind of Christmas. Blue glitter, just a pinch. And foodie, blue

decorated and homemade gifts for some lucky ones.

Oh wait, I’ll need to go out of the cave for something else: gifts. No mall can give me what

I’m looking for: presents that say “at least I tried”. I’ll go for my traditional Christmas

Claudia-day: English tea room for scones and hot chocolate; a walk through adorned city

streets and shopping at my favorite stores. Plus, some shopping in bizarre places where I

know I’ll find exactly what my sis, husband, mom, bro, cousin, friend… is dreaming of. I’ll

probably miss a few guesses, but I like to try: it is so much more Christmas.

I also have a few ideas for the theme. No it’s not going to be just a blue Christmas. I

planned a Music theme too :-). With so touchably, personalized, tags (downloadable for

you ;-)) that I hope I’ll make at least my pregnant-hormonic-sister cry.

However, I also want people to giggle and slurp. Over the choco & spirits tasting night. At

New Year Eve’s Crown & Cocktails intimate party. Or for my Tuscan crostini recipe.

Finally, I want to inspire you. Come in the cave: it’s fun, warm and cozy!

Last, a Christmas serenade for you: Feliz Navidad. (click here)
