Restaurant Costa Gallega

This fancy, 400-seat restaurant is famous with locals for its fresh seafood. Step in and start off on their wide range of tapas or the even wider array of dried hams from the slick snack bar. Before you get addicted, make sure to plant yourself at a table to enjoy a delicious Cantabrian meal, mainly consisting of soups, fried foods and seafood or chicken casseroles. Recommendations include the Pan con Tomate, Paella and Crema Catalana—a vanilla pudding.


Restaurant Cangrejo Loco

El Cangrejo Loco is in the Olympic Port district of Barcelona. It boasts three indoor dining rooms and seven terraces with views of both the port and the sea. The restaurant is open every day of the year and serves a wide variety of seafood, fish and meat dishes. It also offers an extensive wine list with over 400 options. El Cangrejo Loco's claim to fame are the distinguished names of Spanish and British royalty on its guest list.


The new restaurant/lounge club OPIUM MAR is located next to the Hotel Arts, in front of the Barceloneta Beach. Formerly known as Baja Beach, Opium Mar has been recently renovated into a playful and multipurpose space that perfectly combines an excellent, modern restaurant complete with the beach terrace, with the concept of completely changing atmosphere into a very chic and sophisticated bar/discotec by night. The ample space is also perfect for hosting events, conventions and banquets.
