GO! Team Growing

Opportunities International (GO!) was founded by two very different individuals with one common goal and one common name!

“Growing Opportunities International (GO!) is led by the GO! Team which comprised of many dedicated individuals around the world who work tirelessly to make GO! a success.”

Page 3: Go Team Presentation

* If the presented idea will make a positive impact and bring inspiring change to the community, then GO works hand in hand with its Colleagues in the organizing, constructing and funding of each project.

Many conflicts currently existing in the rural areas of developing countries include lack of available health care, limited access to education, lack of parenting and support, and lack of activities for children.

GO doesn’t simply donate money to the project but helps out until the project is self-sufficient and sustainable.

The team works on a per-project basis with locals in the community closely developing and supporting the initial idea right through until a project is sustainable by itself!

Growing Opportunities International or GO is a non-profit organization whose mission is to work in partnership with individuals who have sustainable project ideas in developing countries!

*GO’s first completed project and current partnerships has included Rwandan nursery school teacher, Marceline Nierere and the St. Laurent Nursery School that was built in Rwanda in 2009. The two-classroom school house is now providing education for than 150 children.

*The nursery school used to consist of Marceline’s front porch where as many children as possible could gather. She offered free nursery school five years prior to the children of her village.

-The service work and volunteer leadership group in our school, had Amanda come into present and share her experience -We also learned a lot from her about what it takes to find the support to work on these projects and establish independent sustainability for a community- We held a mass Halloween bake sale supporting the Rwanda nursery school and raised more then $200-Key Club also supported the GO Christmas card campaign, and assisted in collecting donations for the construction of GO’s new project Hero Home at the jazz band concert
