ANALISIS DE DATOS: Fase del proceso de investigación que consiste en organizar la información recogida para que pueda ser tratada, descrita e interpretada.

APLICABILIDAD: Criterio de rigor de la metodología cualitativa referido a si los resultados de una investigación se pueden aplicar a otras situaciones y a otras personas.

CONCEPTUALIZACIÓN: Acción de formar conceptos o de organizar un conjunto de conocimientos en un marco conceptual.

CONSTRUCTIVISMO:Se deben a la mera presencia del ambiente, sino que son construidas por el sujeto en interacción con el medio, en forma continua desde su nacimiento hasta la adolescencia.

DEPENDENCIA :Criterio de rigor de la metodología cualitativa que se ocupa de la estabilidad de los resultados de la investigación.

ENCUESTA: Es una técnica utilizada como instrumento en el enfoque cuantitativo, para recolectar datos sistemáticos de una población o muestra.

SURVEY: It is a technique used as a tool in the quantitative approach to collect systematic data from a population or sample.

EVALUACIÓN: La evaluación es la determinación sistemática del mérito, el valor y el significado de algo o alguien en función de unos criterios respecto a un conjunto de normas. La evaluación a menudo se usa para caracterizar y evaluar temas de interés en una amplia gama de las empresas humanas, incluyendo las artes, la educación, la justicia, la salud, las fundaciones y organizaciones sin fines de lucro, los gobiernos y otros servicios humanos.

EVALUATION: Evaluation is the systematic determination of merit, the value and the meaning of something or someone on the basis of criteria with respect to a set of rules. The evaluation is often used to characterize and evaluate issues of interest in a wide range of human enterprises, including arts, education, justice, health, foundations and non-profit organizations, Governments, and other human services.

HIPÓTESIS: Enunciado relacional entre variables que los investigadores formulan como una explicación razonable, pero no segura del problema planteado.

HIPOTESIS DE TRABAJO:Hipótesis que se adopta como base de un estudio de investigación.

HIPOTESIS CONCEPTUAL: Hipótesis que se formula en términos abstractos o conceptuales, es decir, relacionando conceptos.

  INVESTIGACIÓN:Actividad sistemática, rigurosa y continuada realizada con la finalidad de dar respuesta a un problema.

MARCO TEÓRICO: Es el paso siguiente a la formulación del problema de investigación, consiste en elaborar un marco teórico. En el marco teórico se integran las teorías, enfoques teóricos, estudios y antecedentes en general que se refirieran al problema de investigación.

MÉTODO DEDUCTIVO: Método de conocimiento que va de lo general a lo particular, de la teoría a los hechos.

MÉTODOLOGIA DEL ESTUDIO: Un método de estudio es hablar de una serie de pasos para lograr el aprendizaje. El método no se inventa; depende del objeto o del fin que nos proponemos. Y es el objeto el que, precisamente, nos ha permitido diferenciar dos épocas bien distintas.

OBSERVACIÓN Consiste en el registro sistemático, válido y confiable de comportamientos o

conducta manifiesta.

PARADIGMA: El paradigma es el conjunto de elementos lingüísticos que pueden ocurrir en el mismo contexto o entorno. Los elementos son reemplazados por otros que van a ocupar la misma posición.

UNIDAD DE ANÁLISIS Unidad básica de información que se utiliza para el análisis de un fenómeno.

VALIDACIÓN: Verificación mediante examen o aportación de pruebas. Constatación, mediante pruebas, de que algo es adecuado idóneo. Aplicable a los instrumentos de evaluación.

VALIDEZ: Característica o atributo que puede tomar diferentes valores o expresarse en categorías.
