Save the girls child

Page 3: Girls

These girls who could have been mothers of future

are killed inside the womb.. They die before seeing

the beauty of the world and increasing the beauty of

the world with their valuable contribution.. The

situation is pathetic .. Even when gender detection is

illegal people go for it and have done worst things

like iling the girl to moment they are born. Sad but

true .. Our society need to do something to save the

girl child..

The girl to boy ratio is school is low and well girl to

boy ratio in general is too low which will cause heavy

imbalance if not taken care of..

Using the law to end child, early and forced

marriage and related human rights violations

“If every girl is valued and given the same

opportunities as boys; if she is free from not

only child marriage, but from all forms of

violence and discrimination, amazing things

can happen – not only for the girl whose life

is changed forever but for the whole world

which becomes safer, happier and more

balanced.”

A STORYAt the beginning of the 20th century, two

sisters had a vision to achieve and protect

the rights of children. Their vision has

survived into the 21st century. In 2009, we'll

be celebrating our 90th anniversary.

What You Can Do•Take Action on all Equality Now country campaigns

relating to child marriage.

• Make a girls hostel where girls can live.

• Do not bit girls for small mistake because the girls are soft

then boys.

• Governments must protect women’s and girls’ rights

(Including property rights, access to remedies, support for those wishing to leave a marriage, protection from violence, access to health services and sexual and reproductive health, removing any requirements for spousal consent that restricts young women’s access to health) and remove any reservations to international and regional human rights treaties which allow discrimination against girls or women including within the context of marriage and family relations.
