GEORGE ADAMSKI A HERALD FOR THE SPACE BROTHERS GERARD AARTSEN

description

Much has been written about George Adamski (1891-1965), the most famous of all ‘contactees’ since the advent of the UFO phenomenon in the second half of the 1940s, although very little of it extends beyond the realm of ridicule or defamation. What little was written by serious researchers is out of print and hard to find, and typically set out to prove, or otherwise, Adamski’s claims of having photographed UFOs and met with their occupants. This book focuses, for the first time, on the true significance of Adamski’s mission of informing humanity of our spiritual nature, our interplanetary brotherhood and the need to take responsibility for our home, planet Earth. Providing a unique and comprehensive overview of Adamski’s teaching, a consistent and urgent message emerges which shows he was well ahead of his time, as witnessed by the current rise in global awareness of the need to protect the environment and to find lasting solutions for the persistent problem of social and economic injustice in a world of abundance.Using Adamski’s own words where possible, and making connections that have thus far been missed or ignored, this book shows how Adamski’s work as a harbinger for the Space Brothers and their teachings fits squarely within the Ageless Wisdom tradition as handed down through the ages by the Elder Brothers of humanity – the Masters of Wisdom with whom Adamski studied as a teenager. In doing so this book places his mission in a context larger in scope than even most of his supporters could have fathomed.'George Adamski - A Herald for the Space Brothers' is a unique book that- reveals the true scope of Adamski's mission in preparation for a complete restructuring of our world, re-framing the discussion about the relevance of his work;- provides the first comprehensive outline of Adamski's teaching, largely based on publications that were never available to the larger public and were never reprinted; - shows there is nothing 'alien' about the visitors from space; - contains a revealing photograph from 1938, that was uncovered by the author from the Los Angeles Times archives, and restored for exclusive publication in this volume;- and features the most complete Adamski bibliography to date.Praise for 'George Adamski - A Herald for the Space Brothers':"...a refreshing look... Aartsen succeeds admirably with his main aim of presenting information about Adamski's life, experiences and philosophy that many would not have known about."-Michael E. Salla, PhD, Exopolitics Institute, Honolulu, August 2010"Gerard Aartsen does an invaluable service in bringing [Adamski's lesser known writings] to our attention in this scholarly book."-Phyllis Power, PhD, Share International magazine, Vol.29, No.7, September 2010Author: Gerard AartsenPubl. ‘WHO ARE YOU, GEORGE?’

Preface

Steeped as they were in the materialistic world view sodominant in the 20th century, it didn’t take most membersof the scientific community and the media much time todoubt, denounce and discard the facts and experienceswhich George Adamski described in the books that propelledhim into the international limelight in the 1950s, FlyingSaucers Have Landed and Inside the Space Ships.

In addition, governments and the military hadeverything to lose from a general awareness that humanityis not alone in the Universe, or even in our own solar

system. Yet, educating the public about the reality of Lifeon and from other planets was precisely the missionwhich Adamski had taken upon himself, and even indeath he continues to be slandered for his pains.

Once our space probes had established that life as weknow it was not possible on the dense-physical levels ofplanets like Mars and Venus, Adamski’s claims of havingphotographed space ships and meeting people from theseplanets were ridiculed, while skeptics tried to belittle himby cooking up lies about his profession, his character andhis intentions, and covert government operations wereallowed to go all-out to confuse the public mind about thetrue nature of the UFO phenomenon.

Over the years much has been said and writtenabout the man who is generally considered the first of the‘contactees’ – very little of which involved much open-mindedness and most of it being malicious theories, accusations, derogative comments, half-truths andoutright lies. Only a handful of authors, if that many, thought Adamski worthy of serious investigation.

While most authors, sympathetic or skeptic, busiedthemselves proving or disproving, as the case may be,Adamski’s claims about his experiences with UFOs andtheir occupants, he himself persevered and worked ashard as ever to help a deeply divided world obtain a senseof the fundamental oneness underlying all expressions ofthe universal life, which he experienced and was taught byhis extraterrestrial contacts. What he lacked, perhaps, insophistication he made up for in urgency and steadfastnessof purpose.

Rather than a proper biography which traces the life

of its subject, this book is more of a monograph about thescope and significance of Adamski’s work, which isreappraised here in light of the spiritual realities of life withthe emergence into full public view of our Elder Brothers –the Masters of Wisdom of the Spiritual Hierarchy, headedby the World Teacher – and the Space Brothers from ourneighbouring planets, at the dawn of the new cosmic cycleof Aquarius.1

As these realities become clearer to more peopleevery day, it will be seen that Adamski was hardly the“crackpot from California” that Time magazine andothers made him out to be2, but a visionary teacher whowas far ahead of the small minds that were waging a coldwar against not just political opponents, but against thefact of our interplanetary brotherhood, of which GeorgeAdamski was the bravest messenger.

THE SPACE PEOPLE

The two texts by George Adamski in Part II help, each attheir own level, to broaden our view of life.

The first is titled ‘The Magnificent Perception’ andwas taken from Adamski’s book Cosmic Philosophy. Whileparts of this book were reworked from texts which he wrotein the 1930s, this particular treatise stands apart fromalmost everything else he has written in terms of style,‘colour’ and rhythm. Ranking among the most evocativeof his writings, it relates the coming into existence of

matter as a result of the original Cause sending out itscreative vibration, and man’s journey upward through thesuccessive planes of existence back to his spiritual origins. It is almost impossible to read these pages and not thinkof the Hubble space telescope’s dramatic photographs ofthe Carina Nebula, where new stars are said to be born.Readers may also find this text reminiscent of the story ofcreation in the Stanzas of Dzyan from H.P. Blavatsky’sThe Secret Doctrine.

The second text is titled ‘The Space People’ and ispublished here for the first time. Giving a comprehensiveview of life on Venus and comparing it with life on Earth, this article has previously only been distributed to membersof the Get Acquainted Program in December 1964.

Comparing these two texts the conclusion must bethat the first was inspired, at the very least, by the exaltedBeing whom Adamski met on his sojourns on themotherships, as described in his book Inside the SpaceShips.1 Readers will find several similarities with theteachings which Adamski was given by the Masters withWhom he studied in Tibet. While certainly more mundane– if that term can apply to extraterrestrial life – the secondtext is no less interesting in its detailed description of lifeon Venus, one of the most advanced planets in our systemaccording to the Ageless Wisdom teaching.

These texts are reproduced here with kind permissionfrom the George Adamski Foundation.

THE SPACE PEOPLE

The Space Peopleby George Adamski

(Published here for the first time, with kind permission fromG.A.F. International/George Adamski Foundation of Vista,California, USA.)

As my meetings have been mostly with the people fromVENUS, I will give a few comparisons of their humanrelations and behavior with our own.

They have made a detailed study of nature and findthe Cosmic Father impregnating the material elements ofthe Mother-Planet, and supplying each form with theCosmic Breath, that it may grow and serve all other partsof creation. They have so sensitized themselves that theycan feel the pulse of the blade of grass, and the breath ofthe rock. To them all human beings are a manifestationof the Cosmic Breath, lending life and energy to eachindividualized form.

As they studied the trees, flowers, rocks, the birdsand animals, and observed how each was fulfilling thepurpose for which it was created, they came to theconclusion that Nature is God’s Own Law in action.

So Nature could be called a mother of the SupremeIntelligence, because it is through this mother that theSupreme Intelligence expresses. Just as the mother’s bodysupplies all the material needed for the little form that isbeing built within her own, so Mother Nature suppliesthe needs of all the forms that are born from her body.

By these observations they have come closer to
