LEGAL BASIS• Disaster Prevention Act No.24-2007:
– Central and Local Government responsible for Disaster Prevention management.
– BNPB responsible for coordinate and integrate all disaster management activities.
• Government Regulation 23-2008, with respect to International Agency and International/local NGO’s Participation:– International agencies and NGO’s in assisting disaster response are
required to develop proposal, MOU, and action plan.– Coordinated by National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB).
• Head of BNPB Decision No 3D/ BNPB/01/2010 with respect to establishment of TPT as BNPB representative in West Sumatra.
• TPT tasks: policy formulation, speed up RR and RR implementation coordination in West Sumatra Province
