CONGRATULATIONS on your purchase of aGENERAC high pressure washer. It has been designed,engineered and manufactured to give you the best possibledependability and performance.

This manual contains information for a high pressurewasher that operates at 2,400 PSIat a flow rate of2.2 gallons per minute. This high quality residential systemfeatures 10" wheels, axial cam pump with stainlesssteelpistons, automatic cool down system, chemical injectionsystem, adjustable spray nozzle. Includes safetygoggles,heavy duty 25' hose, and more.

Pleaseread and retain this manual.The instructions willenable you to assembleyour unit without tools, andmaintain your high pressure washer properly.

Do Not allow CHILDREN to operate the pressurewasher at any time.

• Operate engine only at governed speed. Running theengine at excessive speeds increasesthe hazard ofpersonal injury. Do Not tamper with parts which mayincrease or decreasethe governed speed.

• Do Not wear loose clothing, jewelry or anything thatmay be caught in the starter or other rotating parts.

• Before starting the pressure washer in cold weather,check all parts of the equipment and be sure ice has notformed there.

• Never use a spraygun whichdoes not havea trigger lockor trigger guard in placeand in working order.

• Keep the hose connected to machine or the spraygunwhile the system is pressurized. Disconnecting the hosewhile the unit is pressurized is dangerous.

• Never operate units with broken or missing parts, orwithout protective housing or covers.

• Operate and store this unit on a stable surface.

• Check the fuel system for leaks or signs of deterioration,such as chafed or spongy hose, loose or missing clamps,or damagedtank or cap. Correct all defects beforeoperating the pressure washer.

• Do Not spray flammableliquids.

• Do Not secure the spraygun in the open position.

• Use a respirator or mask whenever there is a chancethat vaporsmay be inhaled.Read all instructionswithmask so you are certain the mask will provide thenecessary protection against inhalingharmful vapors.

• Never aim the spray gun at people, animals or plants.The high pressure stream of water that this equipmentproduces can pierce skin and its underlying tissues,leading to serious injury and possible amputation.

• Never allow any part of the body to come in contactwith the fluid stream. Do Not come in contact with afluidstream created by a leak in the high pressure hose.

• Always wear eye protection when you use thisequipment or when you are in the vicinitywhere theequipment is in use.

• High pressure spray can causepaint chips or otherparticles to become airborne.

• Do Not operate the pressure washer above the ratedpressure.

• Never move the machine by pulling on the high pressurehose. Use the handle provided on the unit.

• Always be certain the spraygun, nozzles and accessoriesare correctly attached.

• High pressure spray may damagefragile items includingglass.Do Not point spraygun at glasswhen in the jetspray mode.

• Hold the spraygun firmly in your hand before you startthe unit. Failure to do so could result in an injury from awhipping spray gun. Do Not leavethe spray gununattended while the machine is running,

• The cleaning area should have adequate slopes anddrainage to reduce the possibility of a fall due to slipperysurfaces.

• Keep water spray awayfrom electric wiring or fatalelectric shock may result.

• Do Not by-pass any safety device on this machine.

• The muffler and engine heat up during operation andremain hot immediatelyafter shutting it down. Avoidcontact with a hot muffler or engine as you could beseverely burned.

• High pressure hose can develop leaks from wear, kinking,abuse, etc. Water sprayingfrom a leak is capable ofinjectingmaterial into skin. Inspect hose each time beforeusing it. Check all hosesfor cuts, leaks, abrasions orbulgingof cover, or damageor movement of couplings. Ifany of these conditions exist, replace hose immediately.Never repair high pressure hose. Replace it withanother hose that exceeds maximum pressure rating ofyour unit.

• The muffler and air cleaner must be installedand in goodcondition before operating the pressure washer. Thesecomponents act as spark arresters if the engine backfires.

In the State of California a spark arrester is required by law(Section 4442 of the California Public Resources Code).Other states may have similar laws. Federal laws apply onfederal lands.

NOTE: If you equip the muffler with a spark arrester, itmust be maintained in effective working order. You canorder a spark arrester through your authorized Hondaservice dealer.

REMOVE PRESSUREWASHER FROMCARTON

• Remove the parts box includedwith pressure washer.

• Slice two corners at the end of carton from top tobottom so the panel can be folded down fiat, thenremove all packing material.

• Roll pressure washer out of carton.

PREPARING PRESSUREWASHER FOR USE

If you have any problems with the assemblyof yourpressure washer or if parts are missing or damaged,call thepressure washer helpline at 1-800-270-1408.

To prepare your pressure washer for operation, youwill need to perform these tasks:• Fitl out and send in registration card.

• Attach accessory tray to handle, then attach handle tomain unit.

• Add oil to engine crankcase.• Add fuel to fuel tank.

• Connect high pressure hose to spraygun and pump.

• Connect water supply to pump.

Attach Handle and Accessory TrayNOTE: Alt assemblyoperations given in this section willbe described from the perspective of assemblingthepressure washer from the rear.

• Slide the plastic accessory tray onto the handle and alignthe holes in the accessory tray with the holes on thehandle (Figure I).

• Secure tray to handle with self tapping screws using a#2 phillips screwdriver. Ensure screws are tight but notcrushing the plastic accessory tray.

• Placethehandleontothehandlesupportsalreadyconnectedto themainunit.Makesuretheholesinthehandlealignwiththeholesonthehandlesupports(Figure2).

NOTE: It may be necessaryto move the handle supportsfrom side to side in order to align the handle so it will slideover the handle supports.

• Insert the carriage bolt through the holes from theoutside of the unit and attach a plastic knob from theinside of the unit. Tighten by hand (Figure 3).

• Insert the "J"hook into the second from the left slot inthe accessory tray (Figure 4).

• Pinch the chemical hose that comes out of a hole in the

unit's base and slide it into the metal clip, as shown inFigure 5.

• Tilt the unit up by the handle and attach the metal clip tothe rib on the left underside of the accessory tray(Figure 6). Slide the chemical hose through the metal clipso that it is tight but not kinked.

Add Engine OilIMPORTANT: Any attempt to crank or start the enginebefore it has been properly serviced with therecommended oil may result in an engine failure.

• Place pressure washer on a levelsurface.

• Refer to the engine owners manual to add recommendedoil to engine.

NOTE: Check oil often during engine break-in. Refer toengine owner's manual for recommendations.

Add Gasoline

_hL WARNING! Never fill fuel tank indoors. Neverfill fuel tank when engine is running or hot. Do Not

smoke when filling fuel tank.

_hL WARNING! Never fill fuel tank completely full.Provide space for fuel expansion. Wipe away any fuel

spillage from engine and equipment before starting.

• Use fresh, clean unleadedautomotive gasolineand store inapproved, clean, covered containers. Use clean fillfunnels. Never use "stale" gasoline left over from lastseason or gasoline stored for long periods.

• Clean area around fuel fill cap, remove cap.

• Slowly add gasoline to fuel tank. Use a funnel to preventspillage. Fill tank to "Fuel Level Mark" (Figure 7).

• Install fuel cap and wipe up any spilled gasoline.

Connect Hose and Water Supply toPump

IMPORTANT: You must attach all hoses before you startthe engine. Starting engine without all hoses connectedandwater supplied will damagethe pump.

NOTE: Your pressure washer comes with a quick connectthat you can use to attach the high pressure hose to eitherthe pump or spraygun.

• Uncoil the high pressure hose and attach the femalequick connect to one end of the hose. Attach the malequick connect to the high pressure fitting on the pump(Figure 8).

• Attach the hose to the base of the spray gun (Figure 10).Tighten by hand.

• Before you connectyour garden hoseto the water inlet,inspect the inlet screen (Figure I I). Clean the screen if itcontains debris, replace it if it is damaged.DO NOT RUNTHE PRESSUREWASHER IFTHE SCREENIS DAMAGED.NEVERSIPHON INLET WATER.

Attach the other end of the highpressure hose to thehigh pressure outlet on the pump (Figure 9). Pull downon the collar of the quick connect,slide onto the pumpand let go of collar. Pull on hose to be sure of a tightconnection.

• Run water through the garden hose for 30 seconds toclean out any debris. Turn off water.

• Connect the garden hose to the water inlet. Tighten byhand (Figure II).

CAUTION! There MUST be at least ten feet of

unrestricted garden hose between the pressure washerinlet and any flow shut off device, such as a 'Y' shut-offconnector or other convenience-type water shut-off valve.Damageto pressure washer resulting from disregarding thiscaution will not be covered by the warranty.

• Turn ON the water and squeezethe trigger on the spraygun to purge the pump system of air and impurities.

A AUTION! Before starting the pressure washer,be sure you are wearing adequate eye protection.

Checklist Before Starting EngineReview the unit's assemblyto confirm you have performedall of the following:

• Make sure the handle is in place and secure.

• Check that oil has been added to the proper level in theengine crankcase.

• Add the proper gasoline to fuel tank.

• Check for properly tightened hose connections.

• Check to make sure that there are no kinks, cuts, ordamageto the high pressure hose.

• Provide a proper water supply (not to exceed 100°F)atan adequate flow.

• Be sure to read "Safety Rules" and "How To Use YourPressureWasher" before using the pressure washer.

HOW TO USE YOURPRESSURE WASH ER

If you haveany problems operating your pressurewasher,pleasecall the pressure washer helpline at 1-800-270-1408.

To Start Your Pressure Washer

To start your pressure washer for the first time, followthese instructions step-by-step. This starting informationalso applies if you have let the pressure washer sit idle forat least a day.

• Placethe pressure washer in an area close enough to anoutside water source capable of supplying water at a flowrate greater than 2.4gallons per minute.

• Check that the high pressure hose is tightly connected tothe spraygun and to the pump. See"Preparing PressureWasher For Use" for illustrations.

• Make sure unit is in a level position.

• Connect the garden hose to the water inlet on thepressure washer pump. Turn ON the water.

CAUTION! Do Not run the pump without the watersupply connected and turned on. You must follow thiscaution or the pump will be damaged.

• Squeezetrigger on gun until you have a steady stream ofwater. This purges the pump of air and impurities.

• Attach nozzle extension to spray gun (Figure 12). Tightenby hand.

• Position the nozzle in the tow pressure mode (slidenozzle forward) and squeezethe trigger on the spray gunto relieve pressure caused by turning ON the water.Water will flow out of the gun in a thin stream. Continueto hold trigger until there is a steady stream of waterand no air remains in the system. Releasethe trigger.

• Engagethe safety latch to the spray gun trigger(Figure 13).

• Rotate the fuel valve to the "On" position (Figure 14).

• Move the choke lever to the "Closed" position(Figure 14).

NOTE: For a warm engine, be sure the choke lever is inthe "Open" position.

• Move the throttle lever to the "Fast" position, shownon the engine as a rabbit (Figure 14).

• Placeyour left foot on the lower frame andgrasp thehandle as shown (Figure 15). Your unit may appearslightly different from that shown here.

• Pull the starter grip handle lightly with your right handuntilyou feel some resistance, then pull briskly.

• Return the starter grip handle slowly. Do Not let rope"snap back" againststarter.

• When engine starts, slowly move choke lever to the"Open" position. If engine falters, move choke lever tothe "Closed" position, then to the "Open" position.

• If engine fails to start after six pulls, move choke lever tothe "Open" position. If engine fires, but does notcontinue to run, move choke lever to the "Closed"position, then to the "Open" position.

NOTE: If the recoil starter is hard to pull, it maybe necessaryto squeezethe gun trigger to relieve internalpump pressure.

How to Stop Your Pressure Washer

• Move throttle lever on engine to "Stop" position.

• Rotate the fuel valve to the "Off" position.

• Squeeze trigger on the spray gun to relievepressure in the hose.

NOTE: A small amount of water will squirt out when yourelease the pressure.

How to Use Accessory TrayThe unit is equipped with an accessory tray with placestostore your nozzle extension, and slots to hold the cleaningsolution bottle and the detergent siphoning filter. There arealso two hooks at the ends of the accessory tray to holdyour spray gun and high pressure hose.

NOTE: The extra holes in the tray are for storing a brushand a turbo wand. The brush and turbo wand are NOT

included with your pressure washer. You can buy theseitems as optional accessories.

• Place the nozzle extension through the hole on theaccessory tray, as shown in Figure 16.

Hang your chemical solution bottle on the "J" hook and

place the detergent siphoning filter in the last slot on the

left (Figure 16).

• Hang the high pressure hose on the hook on the rightside of the accessory tray (Figure 16).

• Place the spray gun on the hook on the left side of theaccessory tray as shown on page4.

How to Use the Adjustable NozzleYou now should know how to START your pressurewasher and how to STOP it. The informationin this

section will tell you how to adjust the spray pattern andapply detergent or other cleaning chemicals.

A AUTION! Never adjust spray pattern whenspraying. Never put hands in front of nozzle toadjust spray pattern.

The adjustable nozzle affixed to the nozzle extensionpermits you to adjust the spray pattern and the spraypressure, asfollows:

• Slide the nozzle forward to adjust the spray to lowpressure mode (Figure 17). Slidethe nozzle backward toachieve high pressure.

• Point the nozzle down towards a firm surface and pressthe trigger to test the pattern (Figure 18).

• Twisting the nozzle adjusts the spray pattern from anarrow pattern to afan pattern (Figure 19).

• For most effective cleaning, keep the spray nozzlebetween 8 to 24 inchesaway from cleaning surface.

• If you get the spray nozzle too close, especially usinghighpressure mode, you may damagethe surface beingcleaned.

• Do Not get closer than 8 inches when cleaning tires.

Applying Detergent with theAdjustable Nozzle

CAUTION! You must attach all hoses before youstart the engine. Starting the engine without all the hosesconnected and without the water turned ON will damagethe pump.

IMPORTANT: Use soaps designed specifically forpressure washers. Household detergentscould damagethe pump.

To apply detergent, follow these steps:

• Review the use of adjustable nozzles.

• Prepare detergent solution as required by themanufacturer.

• Hang the detergent solution on the "J" hook attached tothe accessory tray, as shown in Figure20.

• Placethe small filter end of the detergent siphoning tubeinto the detergent container.

CAUTION! Keep the detergent siphoning tube fromcoming in contact with the hot muffler.

• Slide the adjustable nozzle forward to low pressuremode. Detergent cannot be applied with the nozzle inhigh pressure position.

• Make sure the garden hose is connected to the waterinlet.Check that the high pressure hose is connected tothe spraygun and the pump. Start the engine.

• Apply the detergent to a dry surface, starting at lowerportion of area to be washed and work upward, usinglong, even, overlapping strokes.

• Allow the detergent to "soak in" for 3-5 minutes beforewashing and rinsing. Reapplyas needed to preventsurface from drying. Do Not allow the detergent to dryon (prevents streaking).

IMPORTANT: You must flush the chemical injectionsystem after each use by placing the filter into a bucket ofclean water, then run the pressure washer in low pressurefor I-2 minutes.

Pressure Washer Rinsing

_, ARNING! Be extremely careful if you mustuse the pressure washer from a ladder, scaffoldingor any other relatively unstable location. Pressure ina running washer builds as you climb. When youpress the trigger, the recoil from the initialspraycould causeyou to fall. The high pressure spraycould also causeyou to fall if you are too close tothe cleaning surface.

For Rinsing:

• Slide the nozzle backward to high pressure and press thetrigger. It will take a few seconds for the detergent toclear.

NOTE: You can also stop detergent from flowing bysimply removing detergent siphon tube from bottle.

• Keep the spray gun a safedistance from the area youplan to spray.

• Apply a high pressure spray to a small area, then checkthe surface for damage. If no damageis found, it is okayto continuerinsing.

• Start at the top of the area to be rinsed, working downwith same overlapping strokes as you used for cleaning.

Automatic Cool Down System(Thermal Relief)

If you run the engine on your pressure washer for3-5 minutes without pressingthe trigger on the spray gun,circulating water in the pump can reach a temperaturebetween 140-145°E When the water reachesthis

temperature, the automatic cool down system engagesandcools the pump by discharging the warm water ontothe ground. This system prevents internal damageto thepump.

GENERAL MAINTENANCERECOMMENDATIONS

The pressure washer warranty does not cover items that have

been subjected to operator abuse or negligence. To receive

fu[l value from the warranty, the operator must maintain the

high pressure washer as instructed in this manual.

• Some adjustments will need to be made periodically to

properly maint_n your high pressure washer. Check the

spray gun and adjustable nozzle extension assembly for wear.

• All maintenance in this manual and the engine owner'smanual should be made at least once each season.

• Once a year you should clean or replace the spark plug,clean or replace the air filter. A new spark plug and cleanair filter assureproper fuel-air mixture and help yourengine run better and last longer. Pleaserefer to yourengine owner's manual for more details.

• The proper tire inflation operating range should be15-40 PSI.

BEFORE EACH USECheck engineoit level.

Check water inlet screen for damage.

Check in-line filter for damage.

Check high pressure hose for leaks.

Check detergent siphoning tube and filter for damage.

Check spraygun and adjustable nozzle extensionassemblyfor leaks.

• Rinseout garden hose to flush out debris beforeconnecting to pressure washer.

PRESSURE WASH ERMAINTENANCE

Check and Clean Inlet Screen

Examinethe screen on the water inlet.Clean it if the

screen is clogged or replace it if screen is damaged.

Check High Pressure Hose

The high pressure hose can develop leaksfrom wear,kinking, or abuse. Inspect the hose each time before usingit. Check for cuts, leaks, abrasions or bulgingof cover,damage or movement of couplings. If any of theseconditions exist, replace the hose immediately.

A AUTION! Water spraying from a leak iscapable of injectingmaterial into skin. Inspecthoseeach time before using it_ Never repair a highpressure hose. Replace it with another hose thatexceeds the maximum pressure rating of yourpressure washer.

Check Detergent Siphoning Tube

Examine the filter on the detergent tube and clean ifclogged. The tube should fit tightly on the barbed fitting.Examine the tube for leaks or tears. Replacethe filter ortube if either is damaged.

Cleaning Detergent Siphoning TubeIf you used the detergent siphoning tube, you must flush itwith clean water before stopping the engine.

• Placethe chemical injectionsiphon/filter in a bucket fullof clean water.

• Slide the adjustable nozzle extension forward to the [owpressure mode.

• Flushfor I-2 minutes.

• Shut off the engine.

IMPORTANT: Simply shutting OFF engine will notrelease pressure in the system.When the engine hasshut down, squeeze the trigger on the spray gun torelieve the pressure in the hose.

Check Gun and Adjustable NozzleExtension

Examine the hose connection to the spray gun and makesure it is secure. Test the trigger by pressing it and makingsure it "springs back" into place when you release it. Putthe safety latch in the ON position and test the trigger. Youshould not be able to press the trigger.

Check In-Line Filter

Refer to Figure21 and service the in-linefilter if itbecomes clogged, as follows:

Detach spray gun and nozzle extension from highpressure hose. Detach nozzle extension from spraygun and remove o-ring and screen from nozzleextension. Flushthe screen, spraygun, and adjustablenozzle extension with clean water to clear debris.

If the screen is damaged, the o-ring kit contains areplacement in-llne filter screen and an o-ring. Ifundamaged,reuse screen.

Placethe in-line filter screen into the threaded end ofthe nozzle extension. Direction does not matter. Pushthe screen in with the eraser end of a pencil until itrests flat at the bottom of the opening. Takecare tonot bend the screen.

4. Placethe o-ring into the recess. Pushthe o-ring snuglyagainst the in-line filter screen.

5. Assemble the nozzle extension to the spraygun, asdescribed earlier in this manual.

Purge Pump of Air andContaminants

To remove air from the pump, follow these steps:

• Set up the pressure washeras described in "PreparingPressureWasher For Use". Connect the water supplyand turn water on.

• Pull the trigger on the spraygun and hold.

• When the water supply is steady and constant, engagethe safety latch.

To remove contaminants from the pump, followthese steps:

• Set up the pressure washer as described in "PreparingPressureWasher For Use". Connect the water supplyand turn water on.

• Start the engine according to instructionsin "To StartYour PressureWasher".

• Remove nozzle extension from spray gun.

• Squeezethe trigger on the spray gun and hold.

• When the water supply is steady and constant, engagethe safety latch and reattach the nozzle extension.

Nozzle Maintenance

A pulsing sensation felt while squeezingthe spray guntrigger may be caused by excessive pump pressure. The

principalcause ofexcessivepump pressureisa nozzle

cloggedor restrictedwith foreignmaterials,such asdirt,

etc.To correctthe problem,immediatelycleanthe nozzle

usingthe toolsincludedwith your pressurewasher andfollowtheseinstructions:

Shut off the engineand turn off the water supply.

Detach the nozzle extension from the spray gun. Twistthe nozzle clockwise to the stream position. Using thesupplied 2mm (5/64) allen wrench, remove the nozzlefrom the end of the nozzle extension (Figure 22).

3. Remove the in-linefilter from the other end of thenozzle extension.

4. Use the wire included in the kit (or a small paper dip)to free any foreign material dogging or restricting the

nozzle (Figure 22).

5. Usinga garden hose, remove additional debris by backflushingwaterthroughthenozzleextension

(Figure23).Backflushbetween30 to60 seconds.Turn

theadjustablenozzleextensiontostreamsprayand

move thenozzlefromlowtohighwhileflushing.

6. Reinstall the nozzle and in-line filter into the nozzle

extension. Do Not overtighten the nozzle with theallen wrench.

7. Reconnect the nozzle extension to the spray gun.

8. Reconnect the water supply, turn on the water, andstart the engine.

9. Test the pressure washer by operating with nozzle inthe high and in the low positions.

O-Ring MaintenanceThrough the normal operation of your pressure washer,o-rings, which keep the connections of the hoses and spraygun tight and leak-free, may become worn or damaged.

Provided with your pressure washer is an O-RingMaintenance Kit which includes replacement o-rings, rubberwasher and water inlet filter. Refer to the instruction sheet

provided in the kit to service your unit's o-rings. Note thatnot all of the parts in the kit will be used on your unit.

To remove a worn or damaged o-ring:

• Use a small flathead screwdriver to get underneath theo-ring and pry it off.

ENGINE MAINTENANCE

See the engine owner's manual for instructions on how to

properly maintain the engine.

PREPARING THE UNITFOR STORAGE

Water should not remain in the unit for long periods oftime. Sediments or minerals can deposit on pump parts and"freeze" pump action. If you do not plan to use the pressurewasher for more than 30 days,follow this procedure:

I. Flushdetergent siphoning tube by placing the filter intoa pail of clean water while running pressure washer inlow pressure mode (adjustable nozzle in the forwardposition). Flushfor one to two minutes.

2. Shut off the engineand let it cool, then remove highpressure and gardenhoses. Disconnect spark plug wirefrom spark plug.

3. Empty the pump of liquids by pulling the engine recoilhandle about 6 times. This should remove most of the

liquid in the pump.

4. Use Generac brand pump saver to prevent corrosionbuild up andfreezing of pump.

5. Store unit in a clean, dry area.

Protecting the PumpTo protect the pump from damage caused by mineraldeposits or freezing, use the Generac PumpSaverto treatpump. This prevents freeze damageand lubricates pistonsand seals.

NOTE: Generac PumpSaver,model number 01559, isavailableas an optional accessory. It is not included withthe pressure washer.

CAUTION! You must protect your unit from freezing

temperatures. Failure to do so will permanently damage

your pump and render your unit inoperable. Freeze damage

is not covered under warranty.

A CAUTION! Read and follow all cautions andwarnings on the PumpSaver can label. Always wear

eye protection when using PumpSaver.

To use PumpSaver, make sure the pressure washer isturned off and disconnected from supply water. Read and

follow all instructions and warnings given on the PumpSavercontainer.

NOTE: PumpSaver will drip from pump after treatmentand will stain wood and concrete.

NOTE: If PumpSaver is not available, draw RV antifreeze

(non-alcohol) into the pump by pouring the solution into a

3-foot section of garden hose connected to inlet adapter

and pulling recoil handle twice.

Lavadora de Alta Presi6n 2,400 PSIde Generac Portable Products

Opere el motor 6nicamente a la velocidad de mando. Hacer

funcionar el motor a velocidades excesivasaumenta el riesgode lesiones personales. No juegue con partes que puedanaumentar o disminuir la velocidad de mando.

No use ropa suelta, joyas o elementos que puedan quedaratrapados en el arranque o en otras partes rotatorias.

Antes de poner en marcha la m_quina lavadora a presi6n enclima frio, revise todas las partes del equipo y aseg6resedeque no se haya formado hielo sobre elias.

Nunca utilice una pistola de rociado que no tenga un seguro

paragatillo o protecci6n para gatillo en su lugar yen buenascondiciones.

Mantenga conectada la manguera a la m_quina o a la pistola de

rociado cuando el sistema est_ presurizado. Es peligrosodesconectar la manguera cuando la unidad est_ presurizada.

Nunca deber_n ser operadas las unidades con partes rotas o

ausentes, o sin la caja o cubiertas de protecci6n.

Reviseque el sistema de combustible no presente fugas osignos de deterioro, como mangueras desgastadaso porosas,sujetadores flojos o ausentes, tapa o tanque dahados. Corrija

todos los defectos antes de operar la m_quina lavadora apresi6n.

No rocie llquidos inflamables.

No opere la m_quina lavadora a presibn con un valor depresibn superior a su clasificacibn de presibn.

Nunca mueva la m_quina halando la manguera de altapresibn. Utilice la manija que viene con la unidad.

Siempre asegOresede que la pistola de rociado, boquillas yaccesorios est_n conectados correctamente.

No asegure la pistola de rociado en la posicibn (open =abierto).

El rociado de alta presi6n puede da_ar elementos fr_giles,incluyendo el vidrio. No apunte la pistola de rociado al vidriocuando est_ en el modo de rociado a chorro.

Sostenga firmemente en su mano la manguera de rociado

antes de poner en marcha la unidad. De no hacerlo, podrianocurrir lesiones por el movimiento brusco de la pistola de

El silenciador y el motor se calientan durante elfuncionamiento y permanecen calientes inmediatamentedespu_s del apagado. Evite el contacto con silenciadores omotores calientes, o podrta quemarse severamente.

Opere y almacene esta unidad sobre una superficie estable.

La manguera de alta presibn puede desarrollar fugas debido al

desgaste, dobleces, abuso, etc. El agua que sale de una fuga escapaz de inyectar materiales en la pieL lnspeccione lamanguera siempre que la vayaa usar. Revisetodas lasmangueras para ver si presentan cortes, fugas, abrasiones odeformacibn de la cubierta, daho o movimiento de

acoplamientos. Si existe cualquiera de estas condiciones,remplace la manguera inmediata-mente.Nunca repare lamanguera de alta presibn. Remplacela con una manguera quetenga la misma capacidadde presibn m_xima de su unidad.

El silenciador y el depurador de aire deber_n estar instaladosyen buenas condiciones antes de operar la m_quina lavadoraa presi6n. Estos componentes act_an como apagachispassi elmotor presenta contrafuegos.

En el estado de California es obligatorio, segOnla ley,el uso de

apagachispas(Seccibn 4442 del Cbdigo de Recursos POblicosdeCalifornia). Otros estados pueden tener leyes similares. Las leyes

federales se aplican en tierras federales.

NOTA: Si equipa el silenciador con un apagachispas,este deber_ser mantenido en buenas condiciones de trabajo. Usted puedeordenar el apagachispasa tray,s de su distribuidor de servicioautorizado Honda.

PREPARANDO ELLAVADOR A ALTAPRESION PARA SU USO

A prepara su arandela de la presi6n para la operaci6n,usted necesitarg a realiza estas tareas:

LIene y mande en tarjeta de matricula.

Conecte manubrio y bandeja accesoria a unidad principal.

ASada aceite al motor.

ASadagasolina al tanque de combustible.

Conecte manguera a alta presi6n a pistola rociadora y a bomba.

Conecte el suministro de agua a bomba.

NOTA: Todas las operaciones de ensamble proporcionadasen

esta secci6n, ser_,ndescritas desde la perspectiva del ensamblajede la lavadora a presi6n desde su parte posterior.

Deslice la bandeja accesoria pl_stica en el asidero y alinee loshoyos en la bandejaaccesoria con los hoyos en el asidero(Figura 24).

La bandeja segura a[ asidero con tornillos auto utiliza usandoun #2 destornil[ador de phillips. Asegure seres de torni[Iosapretados pero no ap[astar la bandeja accesoria pl_stica.

Inserte el perno del soporte a tray,s de los orificios desdefuera de la unidad y sujete una perilIa de pl_stico desde elinterior de la misma unidad. Apriete manualmente (Figura 26).

Inserte el gancho "j" en la segunda ranura a la izquierdaen elcharoIa accesoria (Figura 27).

PeIlizque la mangaquimica que sale de un hoyo en el baseyde la unidad Io desffza en el clip de metal como mostrado enla Figura 28.

Incline la unidad arriba por el asidero y conecte el clip de metala la costilIa en la cara inferior izquierdade la bandejaaccesoria(Figura 29). DesIice la mangaqufmica por el clip de metal paraque no seaapretado pero kinked.

Agregar Aceite al MotorIMPORTANTE: Cualquier intento para arancar el motor antes

de haberle proporcionado el mantenimiento apropiado con elaceite recomendado, podria ocasionar la faIla del motor.

Coloque la lavadora a presi6n sobre una superficie niveIada.

ConsuIte el manual del propietario del motor para a_adir almotor el aceite recomendado.

NOTA: Verifique el aceite del motor de manera frecuentecuando _ste se esfuerce demasiado. Consulte el manual del

propietario del motor para conocer cuglesson lasrecomendaciones al respecto.

combustible. Limpie cualquier derrame de combustible del

Use combustible limpio y almac_nelo en recipientes cubiertos,

limpios y aprobados. Utilice embudos limpios. Nunca utilicegasolina "vieja" deiadade la estaci6n anterior o gasolina

almacenada por periodos de tiempo prolongados.

Limpie el _,reaalrededor de la tapa de Ilenado delcombustible, retire la tapa.

Agregue lentamente gasolina al tanque de combustible. Use un

embudo para evitar que se derrame. Llene el tanque hasta la"Marca de Nivel del Combustible" como se muestra a

continuaci6n (Figura 30).

Instale la tapa del tanque de combustible y limpie la gasolinaque se hayaderramado.

Conecte la Manguera y el Suministrode Agua a la Bomba

IMPOErANTE: Usted deber_ armar la extensi6n para boquillasy conectar todas las manguerasantes de darle arranque al motor.La bomba resultar_ dahada si arranca el motor sin tener todas las

mangueras conectadas y el suministro agua abierto.

NOTA: Su arandela de la presi6n viene con un r_pido conecta

que usted est_ acostumbrado a conecta la mangaalta de lapresi6n a o el fusil de la bomba o el roclo.

Uncoil la mangaalta de la presi6n y conecta el r_pido conectaa un fin de la manga.Conecte el hembra r_pido conecta amasculino la presi6n alta que quedan en la bomba (Figura 31).

Conecte el otro extremo de la manguera a alia presi6n, a la

salida de alta presi6n de la bomba (Figura 32). Hale el collar

de la conexi6n r_pida, deslicelo en la bombay suelte el collar.

Hale la manguera para asegurarse que esta bien conectada.

Conecte ia manguera a la base de la pistola de rociado

(Figura 33). Apriete con la mano.

Antes de que conecte la manguera de jardin a la entrada deagua, inspeccione el colador de la entrada (Figura 34). Limpieel colador si tiene residuos o solicite su remplazo si est_daffado. NO HAGA FUNCIONAR LA M,&,QUtNALAVADORA A PRESI_N SI EL COLADOR DE LAENTRADA EST', DAI_IADO. NUNCA AGUA DE CALA DESIPHON.

Haga correr el agua a tray,s de la manguerade su lardin por30 segundos para limpiar cualquier escombro que seencuentre en ella. Desconecte el agua.

Conecte la manguera de jardin a la entrada del agua.Aprietecon la mano (Figura 34).

Lista de Revision Previa al Arranquedel Motor

Revise la unidad para asegurarse que ha Ilevado a cabo lossiguientes procedimientos:

Cerci6rese el manecilla es seguro.

Reviseque hayasido depositado aceite y est_ al nivel correctoen la caja del cigLie_aldel motor.

Deposite la gasolina adecuadaen el tanque del combustible.

COMO USAR SU

MAQUINA LAVADORAA PRESION

Si tiene problemas operando su mgquina lavadora a presi6n, por

favor flame a la linea de ayuda para m_quinas lavadoras a presi6nal 1-800-270-1408.

C6mo Darle Arranque a su MAquinaLavadora a Presi6n

Para darle arranque a su m_quina lavadora a presi6n movida a

motor pot primera vez, siga estas instrucciones paso a paso. Esta

informaci6n acerca del arranque inicial tambi_n se aplica cuando

vaya a darle arranque al motor despu_s de haber dejado de la

m_quina lavadora a presi6n fuera de uso pot al menos un dia.

Coloque la mgquina lavadora a presi6n en un _rea cercana a una

suministro de agua exterior capaz de abastecer agua a un volumenmayor de 2.4 galones por minuto.

Revise que la manguera de alta presi6n se encuentre

conectada flrmemente a la pistola de rociado y a la bomba.Vea "Preparando El Lawdor A AIta Presi6n Para Su Uso".

Aseg6rese que la unidad est_ nivelada.

Conecte la manguera de jardin a la entrada del agua. Aprietela

con la mano. Abra el suministro de agua.

iPRECAUCI_N! No haga funcionar la bomba si no tiene el

suministro conectado y abierto. Deber_ cumplir con esta precauci6n,

de otra forma la bomba resultarg dahada.

Apriete firmemente el gatillo de la pistola para purgar de aire

e impurezas el sistema de bombeo.

Conecte la extensi6n de la lanza a la pistola rociadora.

Apri_tela con las manos (Figura 35).

Apriete el gatillo en la pistola rociadora (aseg6rese de que lalanza se encuentra en el modo de baja presi6n) para

deshacerse de la presi6n del aire causada al prender el agua.El agua se descargara de la pistola del spray en un chorro muy

Delgado. Aguante el gatillo hasta que un chorro continuo de

agua aparece. Esto har_ que el comienzo del motor se haga

f_cilmente. Suelte el gatillo.

Coloque el pasador de seguridad al gatillo de la pistola

rociadora (Figura 36).

El Pasador de laSeguridad

Mueva la vglvula del combustible a la posici6n "On"(Figura 37).

Mueva la palancadel cebador a la posici6n "Closed"(Figura 37).

NOTA: Si el motor est_ caliente, aseg6rese que la palancadelcebador est_ en la posici6n "Open".

Coloque su pie izquierdo en el cuadro inferior de la unidadysujete la manija tal y como se muestra (Figura 38). La aparienciade la unidad puede ser ligeramente distinta de la mostrada aqul.

Jale la cuerda de arranque lentamente con su mano derechahasta que sienta algunaresistencia, entonces jale con energla.

Regresela cuerda de arranque lentamente. No permita que lacuerda regrese bruscamente y golpee el arrancador.

Cuando arranque el motor, mueva lentamente la palancadelahogador a la posici6n ("Open"). Si el motor se enciende,

pero no continda funcionando, mueva entonces la palancaa laposici6n ("Closed"), y despu_s a la posici6n ("Open").

Si el motor no arranca despu_s de seistirones, mueva lapalancadel ahogador a la posici6n ("Closed"), y despu_s a laposici6n ("Open").

NOTA: En caso de que resulte dificil jalar el arrancador deretroceso, quiz_s ser_ necesario apretar con firmeza el disparador

de la pistola para disminuir la presi6n interna de bombeo.

C6mo Detener su M quina Lavadoraa Presi6n

Mueva la palancade la v_lvulade regulaci6n a la posici6n"Stop" ("Parado").

Mueva la palancade la v_lvuladel combustible a la posici6n "Ott".

Apriete el gatillo de la pistola de rociado paraelirninar la presi6n de la rnanguera.

NOTA: Observar_ una pequefia cantidad de agua cuando elimine

la presi6n.

Utilizaci6n de la Bandeja AccesoriaEl unidad est_ equipado con una bandeia accesoria. Posee tresoriflcios para sostener la extensi6n de su boquilla, conexi6nr_pida boquillas, su varilla turbo y su cepillo, asl como dos ranuraspara sostener la botella de soluci6n limpiadora y el filtro para eldetergente. Tambi_n tiene dos ganchos en el bandeia accesoriapara sostener su pistola aspersora y la manguerade alta presi6n.

NOTA: Los dos orificios extra en la charola se usan para colocarel cepillo y la varilla turbo. El cepillo y la varilla turbo NO seincluyen con su lavadora a presi6n. Puedeadquirir dichos artlculoscomo accesorios opcionales.

Coloque la extensi6n de la boquilla a tray,s del orificio en el

charola de accesorios, tal y como se muestra en la Figura 39.

Sostenga la botella de su soluci6n limpiadora en el gancho en

forma de "J" y coloque el flltro del detergente en la 61tima

ranura a la izquierda (Figura 39).

Cuelgue la manga alta de la presi6n en el gancho en el lado

correcto de la bandeia accesoria (Figura 39).

Coloque el fusil del roclo en el gancho en el lado izquierdo de

la bandeia accesoria como mostrado en la p_gina 22.

C6mo Usar la Boquilla AjustableUsted ya debe saber como darle ARRANQUE a su m_quina

lavadora a presi6n y como DETENERLA. La informaci6n de

esta secci6n le dir_ como ajustar el patr6n de rociado y como

aplicar detergente u otros qulmicos de limpieza.

_ iPRECAUCI_)N! Nunca ajuste el patr6n de rociadocuando est_ rociando. Nunca coloque las manos en frente

de la boquilla para aiustar el patr6n de rociado.

En el extremo de su pistola de rociado existe una maniia que sepuede mover hacia adelante y hacia atr_s para aiustar el patr6n de

rociado para que sea de alta o baja presi6n.

Usted tambi_n puede aiustar el patr6n de rociado girando la

boquilla para que est_ concentrado en un patr6n de chorro oun patr6n expandido en abanico (Figura 40).

Apunte la boquilla hacia el suelo, desenganche el cerroio de

seguridad y apriete el gatillo para probar el patr6n de rociado

(Figura 41 ).

El patr6n de rociado se ajusta de un patr6n angosto a un

patr6n en abanico girando la boquilla (Figura 42).

Gi_'e la boquilla en sentidocontrario alas manecillas del

t'eloj para un patron derociado en abanico.

Para una limpieza m_s efectiva, mantenga la boquilla de

rociado de 8 a 24 pulgadas de la superficie de limpieza.

Si coloca la boquilla de rociado demasiado cerca podria daffar

la superficie, especialmente cuando est_ usando el modo de

alta presi6n.

No coloque la boquilla a menos de 8 pulgadas cuando est_

limpiando llantas.

Aplicaci6n del Detergente Usando laBoquilla Ajustable

|PRECAUCION! Usted deberg conectar todas las mangueras

antes de darle arranque al motor. Arrancar el motor sin tener

todas las mangueras conectadas y sin el suministro de agua

ABIERTO (ON) causar_ el daho de la bomba.

IMPORTANTE: Utilice quimicos disefiadosespecificamente para m_quinas lavadoras a presi6n. Losdetergentes caseros podrian da_ar la bomba.

Para aplicar el detergente, siga los siguientes pasos:

Reviseel uso de la boquilla ajustable.

Prepare la soluci6n detergente siguiendo _asinstruccionesde_fabricante.

Sostenga la solucibn detergente en el gancho ']" adherido alcharola accesoria, tal y como Io muestra la Figura 43.

Coloque el pequehoextremo final del filtro del tubo deinyeccibndel detergente dentro del contenedor del

detergente.

|PRECAUCI_N! Evite que el tubo de inyeccibnde quimicos

entre en contacto con el silenciador caliente.

Mueva la boquilla ajustable hacia adelante para obtener el

modo de baja presibn. El detergente No puede ser aplicado si

tiene la boquilla en la posicibn de alta presi6n.

Aseg_rese que la manguera de jardfn est6 conectada a la

entrada del agua. Revise que la manguera de alta presibn est6

conectada a la pistola de rociado y a la bomba. Dele arranqueal motor.

Aplique el detergente sobre la superfide seca, comenzando en

_aparte inferior de_ _rea y dirigi_ndose hacia arriba, utilizandomovimientos _argos, pareios y superpuestos.

Permita que el detergente "penetre" de 3 a 5 minutos antes

de enjuagar. Vuelva a aplicarlo cuando sea necesario paraevitar que la superficie se seque. No permita que e_

detergente se seque. Si permite que e_ detergente se seque, _asuperficie podrla quedar con manchas.

INPORTANTE: Usted deber_ lavar el sistema de inyecci6n de

quimicos despu_s de cada uso colocando el filtro en un balde deagua limpia y haciendo funcionar la m_quina lavadora a presibn de

I a 2 minutos en el modo de baia presi6n.

Enjuage de la Mgquina Lavadora aPresi6n

_hL ADVERTENCIA! Seaextremadamente cuidadoso siusa la m_quina lavadora a presi6n desde una escalera,andamio o cualquier superficie relativamente inestable.Lapresi6n de una mgquina lavadora en funcionamiento seacumula a medida que usted sube. Cuando oprima elgatillo, la fuerza de reaccibn del rociado inicialpodrlahacerlo caer. El rociado de la alta presibn podria hacerlocaer si est_ muy cerca de la superficie de limpieza.

Para Enjuage:

Deslice la boquilla haciaatrLs a la presibn altay apriete eldisparadonUevark un pocos segundosparael detergente a daro.

NOTA: Tambi_n puede detener la circulacibn del detergente

retirando el tubo de succi6n del recipiente.

Mantenga la pistola de rociado a una distancia segura del greaque planea rociar.

Aplique un rociado de alta presi6n en un grea pequeha,despu6s revise si la superficie presenta dahos. Si no encuentrada_os, puede continuar con el trabajo de limpieza.

Comience en la parte superior del grea que va a enjuagar,dirigi6ndose haciaabajo con los mismos movimientossuperpuestos que utiliz6 para el limpieza.

Sistema de Enfriamiento

Automgtico (Alivio T rmico)El agua que circula dentro de la bomba puede alcanzartemperaturas entre los 140-145°F si hace funcionar el motor desu m_quina lavadora a presibn de 3 a 5 minutos sin oprimir el

gatillo de la pistola de rociado. Cuando el agua alcanzadichatemperatura, el sistema de enfriamiento autom_tico se activa yenfrta la bomba descargando agua caliente en el piso. Estesistema evita el da_o interno de la bomba.

RECOMENDACIONESG EN ERALES

La garantta de la m_quina lavadora a presi6n no cubre loselementos que ban sido sujetos a abuso o negligencia por partedel operador. Para hacer v_lida la cobertura total de la garantia, eloperador deber_ mantener la lavadora de presi6n tal y como seindica en el manual.

Algunos ajustes tendr_n que hacerse peri6dicamente paramantener adecuadamente su m_quina lavadora a presi6n.

Todos los servicios y ajustes deber_n hacerse por Io menosuna vez en cada estaci6n.

Una vez al afro, usted deber_ limpiar o remplazar la bujla y elfiltro de aire. Una bujia nueva y un flltro de aire limpiogarantizan una mezcla de combustible-aire adecuaday le ayudaa su motor a funcionar mejor y a tener una vida _til m_sprolongada. Por favor, para mayores detalles, consulte elmanual del propietario del motor.

El inflado apropiado de la Ilanta la distancia que opera debeser 15-40 PSI.

Antes de Cada UsoRevise el nivel de aceite del motor.

Revise si existen dafos en el colador de la entrada de agua.

Revise si existen dafos en el filtro en linea.

Revise si existen fugas en la manguera de alta presi6n.

Revise si existen dafos en los flltros de quimicos.

Revise si existen fugas en el conjunto de la extensi6n paraboquillas y pistola.

Elimine el aire y los contaminantes de la bomba.

MANTENIMIENTO DE LA

MAQUINA LAVADORA APRESION

Revise y Limpie el Colador deEntrada

Examine el colador de entrada de la manguera de jardin. Ltmpielo

si est_ tapado o remplacelo si est_ roto.

Revise la Manguera de Alta Presi6nLas mangueras de alta presi6n pueden desarrollar fugas debido al

desgaste, dobleces o abuso. Revise la manguera antes de cada uso.

Revise si existen cortes, fugas, abrasiones, levantamiento de la cubierta,

daffo o movimiento de los acoplarnientos. Si existe cualquiera de estas

condiciones, remplace la manguera inmediatamente.

_IL PRECAUCION! Nunca repare la manguera de altapresi6n. Remplacelacon una mangueraque cumpla con la

capacidad minima de presi6n de su m_quina lavadora a

presi6n.

Chequee el Tubo de Sif6n delDetergente

Examine el flltro en el tubo del detergente y llmpielo si se

encuentra sucio. El tubo deberia quedar apretado en la pieza.

Examine el tubo para ver si existe cualquier tipo de goteo o est_

roto. Reemplace el filtro o el tubo si alguno de ellos se encuentradafado.

Limpiando el TuboSi usted us6 el tubo, usted debe lavarlo con agua limpia antes de

parar el motor.

Coloque el filtro y la inyecci6n qulmica en un balde lleno de

agua limpia.

Deslice boquilla ajustable hacia adelante al modo bajo de la

presi6n.

Lave de I a 2 minutos.

Apague el motor.

IMPOI_rANTI=: Apagando el motor, simplemente no soltar_ lapresi6n en el sistema. Cuando el motor se ha apagado,

apriete el gatillo en la pistola rociadora para deshacerse

de la presi6n en la manguera.

Revise la Pistola y la Extensi6n paraBoquillas

Examine la conexi6n de la manguera a la pistola y cerciorese de

que est_ en buen estado. Pruebe el gatillo oprimi_ndolo y

asegur_ndose de que se devuelve a su sitio cuando Io suelte.Coloque el cerrojo de seguridad y pruebe el gatillo. Usted no

debe ser capaz de oprimir el gatillo. Remplace la pistola

inmediatamente si falla cualquiera de estas pruebas.

Revise el Filtro en LineaConsulte la Figura 44 y suministre servicio al filtro en linea si se

tapa siguiendo estos pasos:

I. Retire la pistola y la extensi6n para boquillas de la manguerade alta presi6n. Retire la extensi6n para boquillas de lapistola y retire el anillo 'o' y el colador de la extensi6n paraboquillas. Laveel colador, pistola y extensi6n para boquillascon agua limpiapara eliminar toda clase de residuos.

2. Si el colador est_ dafiado, encontrar_ un colador para elfiltro en llnea y un anillo 'o' de repuesto en el iuego deanillos 'o'. Si no est_ dafado, vuelva a usarlo.

3. Coloque el colador del filtro en llnea en el extremo conrosca de la extensi6n para boquillas. Su direcci6n noimporta. Coloque el colador ejerciendo presi6n con elborrador de un Igpiz hasta que se asiente por completo en elfondo de la abertura. Tenga cuidado de no doblar el colador.

4. Coloque el anillo 'o' en la ranura respectiva. Empuie el anillo'o' hasta que quede ajustado contra el colador del filtro enllnea.

5. Conecte la extensi6n para boquillas a la pistola de rociado dela manera descrita anteriormente en este manual.

Elimine el Aire y los Contaminantesde la Bomba

Para retirar el aire de la bomba, siga los siguientespa$o$:

Instale la m_quina lavadora a presi6n como est_ descrito en"PreparandoEl Lavador A Alta Presi6n Para Su Uso".Conecte el abastecimiento de agua y prenda agua.

Estire el disparador en el fusil del rocio y el asidero.

Cu_ndo el agua es constante y constante, compromete elpicaporte de la seguridad.

Para retirar los contaminantes de la bomba, siga lossiguientes pasos:

Instale la m_quina lavadora a presi6n como est_ descrito en"PreparandoEl Lavador A Alta Presi6n Para Su Uso".Conecte el abastecimiento de agua y prenda agua.

Pongaen marcha el motor de acuerdo alas instrucciones de"C6mo Darle Arranque a su M_quina Lavadora a Presi6n".

Quite boquilla la extensi6n del fusil del rocto.

Hale el gatillo de la pistola y mant_ngalo apretado.

Cuando el suministro de agua sea uniforme y constante,enganche el cerrojo de seguridad y vuelva a ajustar laextensi6n para boquillas.

Mantenimiento de las BoquillasSi siente una sensaci6n pulsanteal momento de apretar el gatillode la pistola rociadora, puede que seacausadapor la presi6nexcesiva en la bomba. La causaprincipal de la presi6n excesiva enla bomba es cuando la boquilla se encuentra atascadao tapadacon materiales extrafos, tales como tierra, etc. Para corregir el

problema, limpie inmediatamentela boquilla usando lasherramientas incluidas con su lavador a presi6n y siga lasinstrucciones siguientes:

I. Apague el motor y apague el suministro de agua.

2. Separe la extensi6n de la boquilla, de la pistola rociadora. Girela boquilla en direcci6n de las agujasdel reloj, a la posici6n"stream" (chorro). Usando la Ilavede Allen de 2mm (5/64)provista, remueva la boquilla del extremo de la extensi6n de laboquilla (Figura 45).

3. Quite el en el flltro de la llnea del otro fin de la extensi6n de

boquilla.

4. Use el alambre incluido en el iuego (o un pequefio sujeta

papeles) para liberar cualquier material extrafio que est_

tapando la boquilla (Figura 45).

5. Usando una manguera de jardln, remueva cualquier desecho

adicional, poniendo agua en la extensi6n de la boquilla(Figura 46). Haga 6sto de 30 a 60 segundos. Gire la extensi6n

de la boquilla ajustable a "stream spray" (chorro rociador) y

mueva la boquilla de "low" (bajo) a "high" (alto), mientras drene

el agua.

6. lnstale de nuevo la boquilla yen el filtro en-linea en laextensi6n. No la apriete demasiado con la flare Allen.

7. Conecte de nuevo laextensi6n de laboquilla a la pistola rociadora.

8. Conecte de nuevo el suministro de agua,prenda el agua,yencienda el motor.

9. Pruebe el lavador a presi6n al hacer funcionar la boquilla en laposici6n "high" y "low" o con cada una de las boquillas deConexiones r_pidas que viene con el lawdor a presi6n,

Mantenimiento de los Anillos 'O'Durante la operaci6n normal de su m_quina lavadora a presi6n

los anillos 'o' mantienen apretadas y libres de fugas las conexiones

de las mangueras y la pistola, ellos pueden desgastarse o daharsecon el uso.

Su m_quina lavadora a presi6n viene con un Juego de Mantenimiento

para anillos 'O', el cual contiene anillos 'o', arandela de caucho y un

colador de repuesto para la entrada de la manguera de iardin. La

nora que no todas las partes en el juego se usar_n en su unidad.

Para retirar un anillo 'O' desgastado o daBado:

Utilice un destornillador de cabeza plana pequeffo, col6quelo

por debajo del anillo 'o' y s_quelo haciendo palanca.

PREPARANDO LAUNIDAD PARA SUALMACENAMIENTO

El agua no debe permanecer en la unidad por un largo periodo de

tiempo. Los sedimentos o minerales se pueden depositar en laspiezas de la bombay "congelar" la acci6n de la bomba. Si usted no

piensa usar el lawdor a presi6n por mas de 30 dias, siga este

procedimiento:

I. Vacie el tubo de detergente, colocando el filtro en un envase

lleno de agua limpia mientras est_ corriendo el agua a baja

presi6n (la lanza ajustable en la posici6n hacia adelante). Lave

por I o 2 minutos.

2. Apague el motor y permita refrescar, entonces quita mangas

altas de presi6n y jardln. Desconecte el alambre de la bujla.

3. Vacie todos los liquidos presentes en la bomba, halando lamanecilla de retroceso hasta seis veces. Esto deberia

remover la mayor parte de los llquidos presentes en labomba.

4. El salvador de la bomba de la marca del uso Generac a

previene la corrosi6n construye y helado de bomba.

5. Almacene la unidad en un lugar limpio y seco.

Proteger la BombaA protege al PumpSaver de uso de bomba Generac a previene

congelar el daffo y lubrica _mbolos y sellos.

NOTA: El PumpSaver de Generac, el modelo numera 01559,

est_n disponible s61o como un accesorio opcional. No es incluido

con la arandela de la presi6n.

iPRECAUCI_N! Usted deber_ proteger su unidad de las

This warranty is not transferable. The term "originalpurchaser" meansthe person for whom the pressure washer is originally purchased.
