EnCana is looking at having bigger exchanger boxes installed on new applications, to be able to slow the fan tip speeds down

One new innovation is the new “Whisper Tip” fan blades. These new fan blades cut the sound level in half.

EnCana uses two different muffler manufacturers.

Power Therm---The Power Therm’s are a “Critical Grade” muffler, which is a reduction of 29-35 Dba.

Miratech---The Miratech’s are listed as a “Hospital Grade”, which is a reduction of 30-35 Dba.

Muffler stacks are normally cut on a bevel to direct sound to the most desirable direction.
