RALLYING RIDERS STRIKE LATE TO COMPLETE SWEEP: The Riders scored six times in the bottom of the eighth Wednesday to break a 4-4 tie and finish off a sweep of Corpus Christi with a 10-5 win over the Hooks. Brendon Davis broke the tie with a two-run double - his first hit of the year - and Eliezer Alvarez produced a two-run double of his own for insurance later in the frame. RALLYING RIDERS STRIKE LATE TO COMPLETE SWEEP: The Riders scored six times in the bottom of the eighth Wednesday to break a 4-4 tie and finish off a sweep of Corpus Christi with a 10-5 win over the Hooks. Brendon Davis broke the tie with a two-run double - his first hit of the year - and Eliezer Alvarez produced a two-run double of his own for insurance later in the frame.
