Travel DetailsIt is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your travel documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies immediately.

BaggageBaggage allowance and policies differ by airline but in general 1 bag (Max 23 kg) is included.

Important note - changes beyond our controlThe prices and trips advertised are dependent upon a certain number of students travelling. Should the number be insufficient we reserve the right to cancel the trip or amend the price, although reasonable notice will be given in such a case. Compensation will not apply if a significant change is made for reasons beyond our control. These include: war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, and any other similar event.

Passport, Visa and Immigration RequirementsIt is your responsibility to fulfil the passport, visa and other immigration requirements applicable to your itinerary. The school affiliated Travel Agency can help, but such requirements must be requested at least 6 weeks prior to departure.

InsuranceTravel insurance is included in the cost. You may of course purchase additional insurance privately for the duration of your journey.

Travel Advice and VaccinationsVaccinations may be required for some or all of the places you are intending to visit. The School Medical Centre can arrange any necessary vaccinations for your itinerary at cost.

BehaviourAll Collège du Léman trips are governed by the normal School Behaviour Policy. Students on such trips are representing the School, and excellent behaviour is expected. Should a student be judged to have fallen short of this expectation, they may in extreme circumstances be required to be repatriated to their parents - this will be at their cost.

Bookings and Payment For any booking, the Trips Booking Form should be filled and sent to leticia.devega@cdl.ch. Within 10 days, you will receive the invoice for the trips you have sign your child up to. To secure your child’s place on a trip, please pay the invoice as soon as possible to avoid the disappointment of finding the trip full. Your child’s place on the trip is not guaranteed until payment has been made in full. Late payment and bookings may incur penalties.

Cancellation feesAll cancellations incur a 200 CHF administration fee. Cancellations to any bookings made must be in writing to: leticia.devega@cdl.ch
