Officially merged on September 30, 2010, APF joined three strong food companies together In June 2011, APF announced the acquisition of Barber Foods, a Portland, Maine-based, family-owned business that manufactures and distributes more than 300 frozen, value-added chicken products including an expansive, signature line of stuffed chicken breasts. 2
