Saturday, 15th February 2020 – Week 3

Activity:

Rainbow Beach Surf School

Students will travel 1 ½ hours by bus to Rainbow Beach on the Cooloola Coast, where they will attend the “Epic Ocean Adventures” School of Surf. Inclusions:

• Return Bus from Hervey Bay to Rainbow Beach • 4wd trip from Rainbow beach to scenic Double Island Point • All equipment • 2 hour surf Lesson with accredited surf instructors

Lady Musgrave Island Day Trip

Relax and enjoy a Lady Musgrave Island full-day trip departing from the Fraser Coast. Take in the scenery as you cruise to Lady Musgrave Island & coral lagoon, having some morning tea refreshments and experiencing a reef presentation.

Lady Musgrave lagoon provides the perfect environment for your activities: snorkelling, glass-bottom boat trip, and a guided walk of the island. After you've worked up an appetite, savour a buffet lunch on the boat before cruising back to Bundaberg with a spot of afternoon tea along the way.

Activity:

Childers Multicultural Festival and Snakes Downunder Tour

Held annually on the last weekend in July, this quintessential Queensland country town welcomes tens of thousands of people as the Childers Festival closes the highway and transforms the township into a gigantic food, market and entertainment hub, all staged amongst historic, heritage-listed buildings and leopard tree lined streets.

Snakes Down Under features a variety of Australia’s most venomous and non-venomous snakes as well as crocodiles, koalas and other Australian fauna.
