Catch the Garden Fever with WSU Master Gardeners
WSU Benton-Franklin County Extension Master Gardener Program
Garden Fever is a day-long educational event of gardening classes for local gardeners. The program
consists of key-note speakers followed with a variety of break-out classes.
First Keynote Speaker
Pat Munts is a garden
writer and author based in Spo-
kane, WA. She has gardened on
the same patch of ground in the
Spokane Valley for 41 years and
is currently experimenting with
a pollinator meadow. Pat will
help us identify common local

Second Keynote Speakers
Teresa Engbretson and
Katie Elliott mother and daughter
owners of My Garden Over Floweth, a flower
farm located in Paterson, WA where it over-
looks the beautiful Columbia River. They
love, grow and cultivate their lovely flowers
on over two and half acres. They also raise
farm fresh vegetables, fruit and grass fed,

Registration at:
$25 for the day of classes. Two of the breakout sessions have an additional $25 fee for supplies.
Capacity for the Beneficial B & B is 15 and Floral Arranging is 20, so register early! Registration ends on
March 7th.
Lunch
Stone Soup Cafe will have box lunches available for pre-order (about $10). Lunch orders will be accepted
the morning of the event. You’re also welcome to bring a sack lunch or dine at a local restaurant.
Vendors
Master Gardeners, local businesses and youth from the Juvenile Justice Center mentored by our Master
Gardeners will have plants, gardening gloves, books, crafts, and more for sale!
