It’s Coming Together!Founder:Mike Dragosavich “Life is a Roller Coaster. Be careful not to spill your drink!” It has been a fun ride so far and it has been a pleasure bringing the community of Fargo Moorhead with me. FM Spotlight “The MagaScene” is gaining momentum and fast. We have been building great relationships the last couple months, and the future looks amazing. Life is good! April was a great month for weather, and “fingers crossed”, it will get better. I can’t wait to try my luck with the marathon, participate in the Zombie Pub Crawl, get ready for Rib Fest, have a cigar on a rooftop patio, check out Nickelback, rewind time with Simon and Garfunkle, swing the stick at the Roger Marris Golf Tournament, and relax on a pontoon! There is a lot going on around here, and I want everyone to get involved! Thanks again to all of the contributors, supporters, and advertisers. I appreciate everything. Mark Knutson lives running. Try jogging for three hours straight on a treadmill. It’s not fun! That’s what Mark has done to train for marathons. Now he is the active director for the steadily growing Fargo Marathon. It is a Boston Marathon qualifying course developed in 2005. With only 2,500 runners the first year, it is now expecting 20,000. You better believe he has his hands full, and his feet are hurting. FM Spotlight sat down with Mark for a few questions.

Your Best Marathon Time? 3:14:00 - Napa Valley Marathon

How did the Fargo Marathon Start? Fargo Marathon was created after the third running of the “Run for the Children Half Marathon” in 2004....over lunch at the Old Broadway restaurant!

Other Hobbies? I like swimming, biking, triathlons, being active in my church, and spending time with my kids, girlfriend and friends.
