3 Ways First Aid Kit is Used in An Emergency Situation

• 1.) Abrasions (Scrapes): You will need: gloves, gauze pads, and bandages. Put on gloves first, analyze the scrape or bruise, clean the area with a sterile clean gauze and apply bandage.

2.) Cuts: you will need: gloves, bandages, and alcohol or hydrogen peroxide, antibiotic ointment. Put on gloves first, clean dirty wound or cut with alcohol wipe or hydrogen perioxide, then apply pressure to make sure bleeding has slowed down, apply antibiotic ointment. Then apply bandage.

3 Ways First Aid Kit is Used in an Emergency Situation

• 3.) Removal and First Aid for a Splinter: You will need Alcohol wipe/Hydrogen Peroxide, gloves, Tweezers, and a small bandage. First, put on your gloves, then clean the site with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide, then carefully take the tweezers to grab the splinter and remove it. Clean site again. Apply with small bandage, just enough to cover up site.
