Only less than a week and we will start the competition days of the EMCup on the 9th and 10th

of January! For this reason we would like to inform you about the latest details so that you are

well prepared.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Today was the deadline for handing the assessments of the pre-assignments by the jury

members. However, we have not received all registration forms yet. Please make sure to

hand these in before Monday the 7th of January.

We are also still missing a few MEPS-scans, so please be so kind to fill this out on

www.emcup.eu/mepsscan, if you have not done this yet.

We are ready for this 5th edition of the EMCup which promises to be a great event!

* During the case preparation and pitches, the coaches may not help the students. The

coaches will separately debate about the future plans of the EMCup.

** In total there will be 5 jury panels consisting of +/- 6 Jury Members. One Advisory Council

member will be at the head of each Jury panel.

Programme details Arrival On Wednesday the 9th of January we will welcome you at the ‘Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam

City Centre’ (Piet Heinkade 11) at 11.30 o’clock. Here you will need to fill out registration forms

for your overnight stay.

We will provide you with a welcome envelope with all necessary information.

Check-out Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre Checking-out on the 10th of January, needs to be done before 12.00h. You may store your

luggage at the hotel when leaving to the Amsterdam RAI at 07.45h. You may also bring your

luggage with you to the Amsterdam RAI, however, there will not be a separate locked room

for storage of your luggage.

Important Note 1

Some of the members of the Jury will not spend the night at the Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam

City Centre and/or will only join the competition on the 10th of January: These Jury Members

are invited to meet at the Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre at 07.30h, so we can

depart to the Amsterdam RAI together by bus. If you choose not to join, please make sure

that you are at the Amsterdam RAI, no later than 08.30h. If you come by yourself to

Amsterdam RAI, go to entrance E, where you will receive your entrance ticket for the

Horecava and go to the Ruby Lounge on the first floor.

Important Note 2

The partners who will only participate in the speeddates (from 13.00h to 14.30h) on the 10th of

January, please come to Entrance E of the Amsterdam RAI no later than 12.45, where you will

receive your entrance ticket for the Horecava and go to the Ruby Lounge on the first floor.

Speedates & Talent Training For this part of the programme, we will divide the students into two groups. One group will

start with the speeddates and the other one will start with a Talent Training by Charles van

Goch.

Each speeddate will last five minutes. The students are free to speeddate with the partners of

their choice. Each partner will have at least 12 speeddates in total.

You are allowed to bring one regular sized banner (200 x 85 cm) to promote your company

during the speeddates.
