Exciting Times There is certainly a lot happening in our church to start 2015! The 3 Services Launch on 8
th February; Welcome to Church Sunday on 15
th February; 50 Days
of Transformation starting in March; and Renovations as well! To ensure that everyone is well informed, especially about the change to 3 services, I will be sending a brief letter to everyone this week. While I know that most people will have this information by now, I’m also conscious that many folk have been away over the Christmas and New Year holiday period and that, even in the best of circumstances, it is easy for misunderstandings to occur. Please let the staff or elders know if we can help you in any way or you have any questions. Thanks so much for your patience and support.

Kids Hope The students at Ballarat Specialist School are looking forward to seeing their mentor again next week, you can imagine the smiles on their faces when they see them walking into their classroom.
We really need more mentors trained up to start this year as there are many students who would really benefit from an hour with a special friend each week. Please consider becoming a mentor and going to the training day in Melbourne next week. It would be great if we had a small group go altogether, please encourage your friends to join you

MOPPETS Carers
Do you like working with young children? If you have some time available every second Tuesday morning (9.15-11.45am) and enjoy working with young children we would love you to be a part of the one2one MOPPETS carers team. The MOPPETS program provides care and activities for children (0-5yrs) during the MOPS meetings. MOPS (Mothers of Pre-schoolers) provides time out, encouragement and support to mums and their families. MOPS would not happen without the support of the MOPPETS carers.
For MOPPETS to run smoothly in 2015 we need some new carers – and would love you to consider helping. Even if you are only available to help out during certain times of the year, or once a month, you could be a really valuable helper.
MOPPETS Carer Meeting and Morning Tea: For all existing carers and potential carers who may be interested in becoming involved Tuesday 3

Sets are available prior to the service from the Information Desk in the foyer, where someone will be on hand to assist those new to the system. Please remember to return your set after the service.
