Through her consulting company, DI Associates, Inc., she has worked with many nursing programs in the U.S. and Canada to help them develop, implement, and evaluate concept-based curricula. Michelle Lichtenberg, MSN, RN Michelle was involved in the development of the concept-based curriculum as a nursing instructor at the University of South Dakota. She has taught conceptually since 2010 in both the AS and BSN program and is a Peer Advisor for Giddens’ Concepts of Nursing Practice. She has also been an academic consultant in concept-based curriculum for Elsevier since 2014. Nelda Godfrey, PhD, RN, ACNS-BC, FAAN Nelda is a Clinical Professor and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs at the University of Kansas (KU) School of Nursing. She and the KU faculty implemented their concept-learning approach in 2011 and are conducting research to evaluate the effectiveness of this curricular model. Kristin Oneail, MSN, RN Kristin was a key member in curriculum revision and transformation toward a concept-based/QSEN BSN curriculum at Lourdes University in Ohio. She is a Peer Advisor for Giddens’ Concepts of Nursing Practice and an academic consultant for Elsevier. She is also President of OK! Nursing Consultants. Deanne A. Her innovative maps can be found in multiple nursing textbooks, including the last three editions of Iggy’s Medical-Surgical Nursing: Patient-Centered Collaborative Care and Craven’s Fundamentals of Nursing.
